Okay, I worked for his campaign, and you get calls from it because you are a registered voter or have voted in the past. There is NO LIST. We just randomly grab names and numbers from the voter file and call for support. It is not solicitation and therefore, is NOT ILLEGAL. Anyone who has voted is in there. If you don't like it then don't vote. You're lucky you have the right, and should find other things to complain about.

There is no such thing as a political do not call list.  Political groups and non-profit organizations are exempt from the do not call list legislation.

Actually, I've run into this myself and matched the numbers. Obamas Facebook Has the 8666752008 number listed as a contact referance on his page. Just google obama and locate the "Obama | Facebook" whatnot link. I have no clue as to why "your" number would be listed under obamas facebook, although i do have my doubts on if the president would actually have a facebook, myspace account...

I think this is one of those Rovian Dirty tricks that makes Obama calls but the calls are really from the Republicans trying to get people mad at Obama.

its really not that big of a deal. Screen your calls if you're that annoyed by it. You're mad that they are bugging you with their calls and taking up your valuable time, however you have had enough time to get online and b***h. Complain about something that actually matters.

I hope statistics are being kept...I have been getting 2 or three phone calls a day saying Hello North Carolina and I live in Maine....Obama can't get his calling right....what about being president!!

Yup, I'm a diehard Republican and I got this automated call from the Obama campaign.  After listening to the pitch, I am more than ever convinced that now I plan to switch and cast my vote for Obama.  Haven't heard from the Republican candidate McCain.  I guess he's too elitist to reach out to potential voters, plus he's talking bout keeping troops overseas for possibly another hundreth years.  My grandbabies AIN'T gettin killed for these slick oil and defense contractor barons, and Billary is just a flat-out liar.

I've requested numerous times to be removed from their list, but they KEEP calling.

I signed up for the Political Do Not Call List a long time ago.  I'm sick of the automated calls that you can't even hang up on.  It ties up your phone until it's done and hangs itself up.  I still get numerous political calls whenever Ohio is in the hot seat to decide if someone is going to be elected or not.  VERY ANNOYING!

I received a phone call this morning from the McCaskill asking me to vote for Obama.  My number is on the no call list and I want this stopped.  The campaign has violated Missouri rules.

You probably haven't even tried---if you were called by an actual person, they were probably a volunteer who does not have access to editing the list. Barack has been great about only calling people who are known supporters--I have no idea why you were called as you are obviously anti Obama.

Understand that some calls are not covered. Once your number has been on the registry for 31 days, most telemarketing calls will stop. However, you still may get:

   * calls from — or on behalf of — political organizations, charities, and telephone surveyors;
   * calls from companies with whom you have an existing business relationship. A company may call you for 18 months after you make a purchase or three months after you submit an inquiry or application;

I get calls from the Obama Campaign and yes I'm on their list, but Im definitely NOT on the Clinton list and I still get calls from them. That is so irritating. I hang up asap, I'm on the "no call" list so I don't understand that at all. Im not voting for her, I don't care for her at all, I will never vote for her.  Obama is the only one I will vote for, if he isn't in there, I will choose someone other then Clinton.  I wish I'd stop getting calls from the Clinton campaign. I did get one from the Obama Campaign today, but it was a recording, however, though I didn't solicit it, I do believe it's only because I am signed up on many of his campaign registrations.

Obama has been great about NOT calling known supporters???  I think not!  I am TOTALLY anti-Obama, as well as anti-Clinton, and get calls from both constantly.  Apparently this election season anything goes.

I have to laugh.  Just as I submitted that, guess who called again?

However, the several times I received a call from this number, there has been "dead space" only.  I will not wait for long for a machine to start speaking.  His message hasn't been getting to me!

I only realized it was a political call after searching this number.

I am receiving approximately 10 calls a day from election people.  I am on the do not call list and don't appreciate all these calls.  I am getting a call from this number about 4 times per day.

Obama blows.  Seriously, that's all we need in office.

Registered Republican and I still get calls in Texas from both Hillary Rotten and B.H.O. (Barack Hussein Obama)

Politicians make the rules.  

They can have their drones or machines call you whenever they feel it will help them.

They also get to take as much money as they feel like from you and spend it however they like.  Then they come back and tell you all the wonderful things THEY DID for you.
