Indeed. I had the same experience. The number is from First Choice Power.

Received call on my business/personal cell phone from 866-688-6790 but didn't answer it because am leary of toll-free and unfamiliar area codes/numbers due to so many illegal schemes/scams that have taken over these days! Refuse to deal with callers who claim the untrue and really don't care if the caller likes it or not! Show me proof or I will show you the FBI considering too many various claims come from the same telephone numbers!

I got the same message but no name left at all, I called back and since I DO use this power company it was a bit disturbing, it was not even for me. I have left a complaint with my power company sales rep. They do not even claim to be collecting a debt or a collection agent anywhere and dialing back now says it is 'first choice power' and the final billing department. They have long hold times and unfriendly staff, so they obviously are not first choice power.

Mr. Yawn from First Choice Power.  I don't have that power company. I called and he said they were trying to reach someone that is not me.  He seemed polite and apologetic, but still.  Don't call me.

Have been receiving calls from this number every 2-3 days for a little more than a month, 11 calls and counting. Only part of one automated message left instructing if I was "not this person", and I deleted the message. Don't know who they were trying to reach since my answering machine only recorded from the "not this person" part. Have seen this may be a debt collector, Torres Credit Service. I don't have any delinquent debt, so I suspect I may have the same name or last name as the person they're looking for and they are casting a wide net to see what they catch. They are starting to annoy me, though.

Calls a lot. I've got so I hit MUTE and pick it up and don't say anything. A recording comes on saying they have a personal business matter with (name) and if you ARE (name) press one, if you aren't (NAME) press 2. They sound very ominous and not friendly. I mean, who would press one to say they were the person, without knowing WHAT it was in regard to?  I have pressed 2 and the call disonnects but then calls back again another time.
  Do these places really think annoying people will get them whatever they want?
  I also have people calling me asking for someone who used to rent a room from me (and had his own cell phone and didn't use my home phone) they apparently get my phone number from the address. I have told them he doesn't live here and they want to know where he now lives and his new number. I say I don't give out people's personal information. So they keep calling me.

Calls but never leaves a message except for a 5 second silence.
Was told that this number is Torres Credit Service, a debt collector.
