Non-stop calling and never an answer.

I recieve these phone calls and after many times saying hello, they hang up. I was receiving 414 area code numbers too. When I looked in reverse call, it said it was a residence in Milwaukee Wisconsin but I had to pay for anything else. This is ridiculous. I don't like it. It scares me. I was once a battered woman and was shot at many times. I am also very depressed and suffer from chronic pain due to a botched back surgery in 1998. Please see what you can do??  I do not have caller ID. I have automatic callback, and that is all on my land line.

I do hope we can get this taken care of.

I believe it's Direct TV

DirecTV it is.  It's not collection or anything, but a sales line.  Trying to get you to upgrade to hi-def, etc...

I keep getting calls from 866-693-5688 and there is no one there. It happends 4 to 6 times a day and driving me nuts.  How can I stop it!!!

This is a DirecTV outbound sales center.  I've requested to be put on the DNC list but I still receive calls--I like the programming on DTV, but their service is aweful.

I see you guys have concerns about this phone number. Actually there is nothing to fear with this phone number. It is legit and it is Direct TV calling to do a follow up call on a recent call that you had made to the customer service department. they make sure everything is satisfactory and do a quick, yet, small survey to see how Direct TV is doing. This is an ICU Department meaning the customer service is highly focused on pleasing the customers every needs. (You WON'T get the snaughty supervisors or reps with this line) Although, there is a high in-take of calls. (the reason you go straight to voicemail) All you have to do is leave your name and the phone number associated with the Direct TV account and WHAM! You will get a call the following day. If of course you pick up the phone. Otherwise, your number is put back into the system to be called back.

I hear alot of fuss about getting it several times a day because "It's Annoying"... Well, when you do not answer the phone or hang up immediately, your number is set to call back in the evening or later on that day. If you answer the phone and get a silence, like the they have hung up. It's just a simple glitch the systems is having with patching you to the next available Representative. Need less to say, Give it a chance just a few moments of your day. You probably spent more time groping about it anyway right?
