I received a call from "Ms. Cochran". She represented herself as an employee of Bank of America. I was suspicious of her authenticity from the start as her demeanor was very different than any Bank of America employee I had dealt with in the past. After obtaining her name and phone number, I attempted to verify her authenticity with Bank of America. They have no record of a Ms. Cochran, nor the phone number she gave me. Ms. Cochran already had some private information of mine, and was attempting to retrieve additional information from me with regards to my credit history. I did not give her any information and will be changing all of my account numbers on all my financial accounts. I will also report her to the police if this continues to occur.

Mrs./Ms. Cochran has called me as well from the number listed above, however, she was looking for someone else. I have received several phone calls at my job looking for this other person. When I called Cochran back, I asked for the company name, and she would not give it to me. Instead, she told me she was "not in the mood". I replied that neither was I. I have received several phone calls looking for this other person. And the mistake is on their end, as the phone number has 2 inverted digits. So instead of calling (name omited), they are calling me.
She got beligerant, as did I, and I ended up hanging up on her. I will be calling back today. This is a business, and a direct line she is calling. I have tried to get this corrected several times, but inevitably, they still call me, interrupting meetings, conf. calls, etc. Not to mention its a general pain in the rear having to explain each time.
It seems as the company may be a bill collector of some sort, but I am not sure. If it is a scam in any way, I'll be happy to report it to the police as well. Maybe I can get them on a harrassment charge. :)

Just an update...
I was finally able to find out who this person is. She works for a company called Alliance One. I believe they are a debt collection agency. Hope this helps Washington Resident, or anyone else that receives a call.
For the record, they don't seem to be too professional. I was able to speak with her, and she said they would have my phone number removed from the account, but could not guarantee that I would not receive any more phone calls for the person they were trying to reach. At least I know the company now, and can try to contact someone higher up to get things resolved if the phone calls continue.

866-701-0360. A Mrs. Cochram called from alliance One Inc. She was looking for my daughter. I wouldn't give her any information so she called me an unfit parent who taught her to lie cheat and hide from her responsablities. And I should be ashamed of myself. My daughter is an adult and has been for years. How dare Cochran judge me! Cochran told me she was going to call others in our family and there was nothing I could do to stop her. I hung up on her and she called my back. I told her I was reporting her and hung up again. She called my husband at work then. I am sending and letter to alliance one to stop calling and to reoprt cochrans behavior.

A Mrs. Cochran called me. I guess she's just trying to earn a living, but how sad that this is the only place that would hire her.

Got a call from Mrs. Cochran from Alliance One for my employer. She complained to me that my employer would not return her phone calls. I told her I had no control over that issue. She then complained that my employer didn't pay her bills. I then told her that she should not be discussing this with me. She went on and on with me continually telling her she should not discuss this with me. She then said I would be out of a job soon. I do believe this behavior has crossed the line as she cannot harass, oppress, or be abusive in collecting a debt. This includes using threats or obscene language, publicizing the debt, making annoying or anonymous telephone calls, and misrepresenting the identity of the collector, the status of the debt, and the consequences if it is not paid.
She publicized the debt (which is not my employers). She maligned my employer, and implied because this debt was not paid, I would be out of my job soon.
Mrs. Cochran doesn't know or she doesn't care about the law.

Another Complaint:
Mrs. Cochran, as she identifies herself, has been calling my company for months demanding to speak to an employee. We cooperated in the beginning; however, the non-stop phone calls are becoming pure harassment. In fact, she promised to call me, the CFO, every day until I personally bring the employee to the phone.
I was able to speak with her Supervisor at Alliance One, Inc., Kenneth Ortiz, and he said he would delete my company's phone number from their database.
I'm sure the CEO, Tim Casey, would be ashamed of Mrs. Cochran's demeanor.
