Called twice, said from sherburn county jail.  Sounded like a man and possible Somli speaking voice.  9:30 am May
31st.

Call was legit.  Brother was n jail in Rock Hill, SC and was letting us know so we could get him out...those ignoring them really may have someone that needs help like a loved one.

Received call on mobile from this number (866) 718- 4777 at 12:59 a.m. I did not recognize it, therefore I did not answer it. No message was left for follow up assuming it is a scam call.

Called on my cell phone said a court correctional facility I know no one in jail I hung up and look ed it up looks like a lot of people getting these calls no no.

I got the call and missed it last night at 5;16. I DO know someone in the correctional facility but lost track of them.  This must be a call from them (and mine was a free call if i pressed 1) but I do NOT know where this detention center is located.  I do believe this number is from a detention center. I will call the number to see if they will tell me WHICH one it is.  I hear it could be North Carolina or Wisconsin.. now is see a few other suggestionsl  The last place my person was, was in Yuma, Arizona.  ????

Someone from this number called my cell phone at 3:30 am last night and I didn't hear the phone ring. There was a message that it was someone from a correctional facility. I do not know anyone who is in prison. I was a 911 Police Dispatcher for 9 years in a heavy crime area in South Florida. There was a scam going on from the local prison. Someone on the outside would get a number of a female and check to see if she lived alone and somehow find out things about her family, probably on the internet. Then they would call the female from jail and impersonate a relative and ask for money. Or they would be threatened if they didn't give money and let the victim know they knew their address. If this happens to you call your local police immediately!

I dont know what jail this is calling about to figure out what jail the person is in.

I don't know who is calling me from this number. It keeps saying Washtenaw county jail and I don't know anyone there but my boyfriend is in Lenawee county jail and it sounds like him when they record their name but I called the jail he is at and they said he was still there.confused?

@Kenisha. She isn't able to access internet in Jail. If it's a Texas Jail, you can forget hearing from her again until she is sent to prison. Texas reserves its right to not issue phone-calls to inmates. I went away for five years for possession of Marijuana. In that time my Mother and Father were killed in an accident, and I never heard about it or was able to attend their funeral. If I were you, I'd do anything I can to get in contact with her and setup a solid defense. My family and I were bullied into accepting a plead-bargain.

I have had multiple calls over the last three days from this number, claiming it is from Midland County Jail (Where the heck is that?!) The male caller doesnt say their name but hurriedly says something too low to hear, so i cant identify if I know this person or not, though I know no one in jail. Asking 9.99 for the service, and then today it said it was a 'free' call. I finally just blocked my number. I feel bad if there is a legit person calling my number, but I dont know anyone who'd be in this situation and I wont pay 10.00 just to tell the guy he has the wrong number.

I received a call at 545a this morning. I didn't hear the phone, but from all of the posts, it's someone from jail and I don't know anyone in jail nor do I answer calls from random numbers.

I received a phone call tonight from this number, I did not answer it and it left a voicemail. I do not know anybody in a Texas Correctional facility.

I just got a call from that number and Its like 3:30 in the morning and I swore it said it was from someone I knew, but they played the recorded message at a weird speed and me being half asleep couldn't understand what they where talking about and it hung itself up after repeating itself again. I tried calling back but wanted me to go to speedy tech .net or some random website that it slurred together. If this is a scam this needs to stop, you shouldn't make money off scaring people into answering a phone call to talk with a friend or family member who may seriously need your help.

Somebody call me today.First ask me if I accept the call when I click 1 and ask me if this is my number .I said yes.Then somebody ask me Who is this?I answer who is this?Because I was surprise of the call .After I refused to said my name ,somebody said bich to me and disconnected.

I got a call from this number, it was for a jail in Tuscola County, Michigan. So it's a company that makes money on the phones inmates use to call people. It was one of my friends in jai calling me. I helped him as much as I could, but he keeps calling and nowhere in the options is there anywhere you can push a button to never have a call from that number again. there should be.

just got a call from this number as well. Just blocked my number so hopefully that puts an end to it.
