We recieved a similar letter labeled US Airlines with a lame logo.
Indicated we won 2 airline tickets worth $1,298.00.

We got the same letter, agree, very lame.
We are taking it to the police as well, thanks for the advice.

because it is in the US Mail, it is a federal offense. Take letter to your post office.

I received a letter (from the post office, not even email spam) from someone claiming to be the vice president of "US Airlines" (there is no such airline). It says I was awarded two round trip tickets (for no reason) and asked me to call this number.
This is obvious spam. The letter is printed on any home printer -- no company letterhead. The envelop is a plain white envelop, again no company logo or address.
But somehow I feel like calling just to mess with them:)
