I called them by accident thiinking it was my mortgage co. I asked when my tax escrow check would be sent out, he said " Oh we were waiting for you to call about this, I just need your bank routing, etc. and the check will be direct deposited by Dec 27th.so I gave him the info and after I hung up realized he never asked me for my loan number, so I called back, and the first guy I talked to said do you realize this is a collection agency, I said NO!  And he transferred me to make a formal complaint to the manager because the other guy never should have mislead me and ,  acted like my mortgage co.  I do owe this place 200 some dollars, and the bad guy already sent in the transaction, well I explained my story again to the manager and said I cant have all this money taken out right now, so she transferred me to rude guy and basically said too bad.  So I am reporting them to the Federal trade commission, and I called my bank and once it goes thru I can go down and have it revoked.  It's unreal the crap these idiots get away with.

Leave a message with a name and extension asking to call them back for no reason at all.

this is ACC LLC..a bogus, Lying, and Ruuuuude Credit collections company. If they contact you be warned they insult, threat and intimidate people. You dont have to deal with these people. just google a John Russel with this number and a comsumer watch list site comes up. These people are bad and misleading people. DO NOT give them your personal account numbers or social or any info about yourself. BE WARNED!!!

I was left a message to call this number back by someone named William Starks with some case number to reference.  Thank you for your post UpsetInMich.  I won't be calling them back.  They can send a letter with all the details if this is legit.

I received a message from Julie Myers asking me to call this company with an account number that I can't locate in my records.  She spoke so quickly, it took 3 times listening to the message for me to get the phone number.  After reading UpsetIn Mich's message, I also will not call them back.  Oh, they also blocked their phone number on caller ID.  They will receive no phone call from me.

Only gave name, number and file #.  Didn't day what compay they're with. Iwon't be making any call.

I had a hunch that something wasn't right considering what the bogus number on the caller ID. I decided to Google the number the this guy named Jeremy left. I am so glad I did. He will no way get a return call from me.

first call today- shows as AM Mortgage on caller id- obviously either collection scam or illegal sales call

They've robo-called called my cell phone a couple of times saying the message is for some guy. I called them back, quickly got a live person who said they'd remove my number from their computer.

This is a dept collector whose company scams on old written off depts. In my case this was from a credit card I thought I settled back in 2000 and have the paperwork to prove it. (I never throw stuff away) File a complaint to the FCC, here's the link...
