I have been receiving calls from an unknown number, I NEVER answer calls from an unknown number, so the VM that was left two or three different times, as if reading a script, or memorized script, she said her name was Rachel, from United Process Servers and that my husband had a court date of 7/8/11 and gave a case number starting with CN2-####. Didn't say which court though.

Now, even though we just moved, we updated our address with the DMV so if they REALLY were process servers, they could have a local process server bring the papers to our home. (I remember doing this back in the late 80's when my former husband and I were Process Servers and I would do the skip-trace research.)

It also helps that my husband's former wife works in collections. It takes a special kind of heartless or callous person to so this kind of job, and they are paid a percentage of the collections they get people to pay, so they are going to try everything possible to get their paycheck, and will continue harrassing until they get the money. Meanwhile, if we have a debt that goes to collections, we would still rather pay the original company we owe the debt to whenever possible to prevent the bottom-feeders from profiting from their abuse.

I received a call from 866-765-0445and the lady stated her name was Devin Hart and that she was contacting me to serve a summons to court for a payday loan that I got back in 2009 and gave me the last 4 of the SS# that was not mines at all.  I told her not to call me at my place of employment and she said that she will continue to call until I pay this debt off but I told her that I didn't receive a loan and how can I get this resolve and she said by paying the outstanding balance, so does anyone know what I should because I didn't receive a loan and I told her that is she wanted to serve me a paper that she is not going to call me to warn me before she do it.

Don't worry yourself with it.  One it is against the law for a debt collector of any kind to contact you at work.  It is against the law for them to threaten you over the phone saying they are going to take your to court, put a warrant out for your arrest or any other type of way to scare you into paying a debt.  If you want information tell them to mail documents to your home in which they are speaking off.  You can report them to the FCC and you can also report them to the BBB.  I have gotten the call that they are going to serve me as well, but in order to be served they would have to contact your local police department and have them serve you and considering that they are probably out of state from where you are it isn't going to happen.  I have gotten calls saying I will have a warrant out for my arrest, and that I am going to be served, I have lived in the same house for 3 years.  No one ever showed up. Oh and this number called me to, i just delete it.
