I received a message from this number and returned the call. In the message a William Tate indicated he was a "gift coordinator"  and this was not a sales call". He indicated "I am not a solicitor nor telemarketer" He indicated that I had won a prize, possible a Dodge Durango or other prize as a result of a survey I entered "online or at a sporting event". I called the number back and got phone mail. He called back on what appeared to be a local line. I have not actually talked to him.

got a similar call  2day also.... they say i won a 50 " flat screen TV ...i was giving a confirmation code 2 go pick it up...so im going 2 c if it a scam or not.....hope i dont get kidnapped or any thing but ill let u guys know how it turns out

Just got a called from 866.769.7913 from Lindsay Ryan. Said I'm a sweepstake winner but couldn't tell me who the sweepstake was through. This sounded suspicious, so I searched the internet...and I found similar stories. Lindsay Ryan calls to tell you, you're a sweepstake winner and to call William Tate to accept 1 in 4 prizes. Although I'm tempted to call, I'll listen to my gut feeling and chalk this up to a scam and forget about it.

received a call - they left a voice message for (another named person) and they stated and numbered address for this person...which was not my address and never was.
"This message is for (   ) at  XXX Marshall Avenue in St. Paul, Minnesota and I am calling in response to an entry you placed either on-line or at a retail location to tell you that you are a sweepstakes winner and have won a home makeover.  We have contacted you by mail and you have not responded.  This is not a solicitation or telemarketer call. You have won a sweekstakes and you should call me, Lindsey Ryan or William Peake at 866-769-7913."  I FOUND THE PERSON'S NAME IN THE ON-LINE PHONE DIRECTORY, AT THE ADDRESS THE CALLER STATED BUT WITH A TOTALLY DIFFERENT PHONE NUMBER AND NONE OF THOSE NUMBERS WERE ANY WAY NEAR MY PHONE NUMBER...AND I DON'T KNOW THIS PERSON.
While I initially thought to maybe call the "non-telemarketer" back to tell them they had the wrong number and here's possibly the correct number, and also thought to maybe call "the original recipient of 'the prize" to give them the toll free number - I CAPOSHED BOTH IDEAS AND DECIDED.  IF THE UNKNOWN RECIPIENT GAVE MY TELEPHONE NUMBER BY MISTAKE, OR IF MY NAME AND THE UNKNOWN RECIPIENT ARE ON THE SAME LIST - I KNOW I DIDN'T FILL OUT ANY ENTRY FORM FOR ANY SWEEPSTAKES AND WASN'T IN THE MOOD TO PLAY GAMES WITH THE ORIGINAL CALLER - I  DON'T BELIEVE IT WAS A SWEEKSTAKES CALL - I WAS JUST CURIOUS.

Got a call from someone telling me I had won 1 of 4 grand prizes and to call this number and speak with a specific person to claim my prize. Hesitated to call fearing a scam but have called twice and got an answering machine telling me to leave my number and they will call me at earliest. I didnt
