GOT A RELAY CALL. THE PERSON AT THIS NUMBER WAS LOOKING FOR 10 THOUSAND DOLLARS IN FILTER KITS.
BILL TO WAS IN SAN FRANCISCO CA AND SHIP TO WAS IN ALEXANDRIA LA.
GOOGLED THE ADDRESSES AND BOTH WERE VACANT LOTS.
CREDIT CARD AND UPS NDA SHIPMENT. FILED IT IN THE ROUND FILE.
GET THESE CALLS A COUPLE TIMES A MONTH

Here is a copy of one email below, these are for heavy equipment parts, but these crooks are going after every type of business out there. I sometimes get 2 or 3 day. For a FACT this is a stolen credit card scam. It does no good to report it as the credit card companies and processors always get their money in any case. You can report them, but don't think anyone will ever investigate. The business are always false. Although they do a fair job of making these emails look legit, the BIG red flag is "what types of credit cards do you accept"... also the word "urgent" always appears and lastly, you will almost never get a live person to talk to, if you do, it's usually some little old man or woman who has been conned into accepting packages from UPS for a small fee. If this occurs, let them know they could be in danger and to call police right away. It would help if when you get these email messages if you'd lead them on long enough to get a credit card number or two and addresses if in the US.

I researched all of the information and found nothing about the business and no results for the phone numbers - I think it's a "Fluke", scam, bogus, or whatever - With all of the other posts with this situation, I am deleting and disregarding

I received a similiar email but it was requesting a quote to purchase 20 Fluke meters.  It is obviously a fraud.  The formatting is unprofessional.  The email did NOT come to my business email address.  They wouldn't be purchasing equipment with emails to private accounts....

I received an email asking for price on a 5'x10' storage unit. They wanted to know if I accept deliveries as they are out of state and could we also print and affix a shipping label to ship items out using their UPS, FedEx label we would print from our computer when it is sent to us. We can do all that he is asking for but I looked the company up before responding and found this.  Glad I didn't waste my time! This is the info he sent me. His email was full of incorrect grammar which is usually a flag for me.

Got an email ordering $5,000 worth of parts paid for by credit card that went through... looks like a scam

got the same message today, received about a month ago as well. Looked at address via google maps and it appears to be a shack. I disregarded the first time, as I will this time.

The website listed further in the email is registered with GoDaddy.com but is not active.  dennysmerchants.com

Rec'd email from "Dennis Edward" <dennysautosupply@att.net> requesting a large quantity of parts needed ASAP to be paid for by credit cards.  Claims to be  Dennis Edward Dennys Diesel Works 344 W Market St, Salinas, CA 93901 but the secretary of state for California has no record of such a company and a reverse lookup on the phone numbers does not come back to any registered company.  Appears to be fraud.
