WE KEEP GETTING RECORDED MESSAGES FROM THIS NUMBER 866-794-1321 ASKING FOR THE ESTATE REP  FOR OUR DECEASED MOTHER.  CALLING TO A FAMILY MEMBERS HOME WHO IS NOT IN ANYWAY ASSOCIATED WITH HER ESTATE.. DONT YOU THINK THAT IF THIS WAS AN ACTUAL DEBT COLLECTION THEY WOULD KNOW THE CORRECT PEOPLE TO CALL...WE HAVE ALL OUR DUCKS IN A ROW AND HAVE TAKEN CARE OF ALL HER ESTATE MATTERS...THIS IS A COMPANY THAT IS LOOKING TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE THAT HAVE LOST A FAMILY MEMBER

Calling asking who is handling the affairs of my deceased father, specifically asking for me

I have received numberous Robo-Calls from this number with a fast recorded message concerning my deseased son.  The call back information contains a reference number that is at least 15 digits and is repeated rapidly.  The calls come at all times...even on Sunday.  I am contacting the PA Attorney Generals office with a complaint about this harassment.

Got a call from Richard Wiley, Debt Collectors from this number. He called on a holiday to an 85 year old woman on limited income whose husband just died.

I keep geeting this message asking if I'm the one in charge of the business affairs of a Steven (Stephen) Merriman (Merryman)????  I keep hanging up when I hear the message.  Though this last Time, I waited longer and it said that if I stayed on any longer that I would be notified, or put down as the person handling the affiars of Steven Merriman, so I just hung up before it went any further, sounds like a scam to me, I live in Va. Beach, Va.

I recieved a message from this number asking about who was handling my uncles estate. The person left the name Mr. Ashford and a referrance number for me to call back. My uncle didn't owe any monies so I searched the computer and found this sight. I live in Vermont.

I was actually given this phone number by American Express. I work for a law firm on Long Island, NY, and had contacted AmEx about an outstanding bill related to an estate we're working on - I was advised the account had been turned over to "Estate Recovery" and then given their number. I've been trying to get hold of them, but the phone has been busy all morning, so I decided to see if there was some other way to get hold of them via the internet, which is when I found a umber of sites, including this one about this number. No wonder I can't get hold of these bottom feeders - they're constantly on the phone harassing bereaved family members!

AMEX Estate Recovery.

Continue to call even though I'm not legally responsible for my father's debt. At the beginning of this, I would have been happy to pay them if I had any money. Now I wouldn't even if I won the lottery. Really rude and keep insisting I'm responsible. It's less than a $1000 balance. Can't believe they're harassing a grief-stricken family for that much money. Hope there's a special place in hell for them.

American express must be the company of the devil. I have never had such bad customer service and rudeness especially during a time of a loss in the family. I have a credit due back to me but they refuse to issue a check for the money that is legally ours. Amazing. AMEX should burn in hell!!!

These people are obnoxious VULTURES!!!!! I've been legally divorced from my ex for 25 years. He passed away in April 2010, and since then I have been INUNDATED by their irritating and incessent barrage of harrassing phone calls. I OWE THEM NOTHING!!! and I'm not responsible for ANYthing of my ex's financial world. I'm "with" MMM, I'm heading to my state Attorney General for relief!

These vultures find dead people who owe money, then call everyone with the same last name in the state.
Trying to collect the debt, they do not care about the do not call list and actually are breaking the law!
FCC Representative told me that nobody can ROBOCALL your house without a way to be REMOVED from their list during the call. Or leaving a number that you can call to be removed.

This company is stating don't listen if this is not for you, and if you do listen you are responsible for the debt. This is ridiculous, nobody can call you and make you conform to what they say!

I called them to be removed, the agent was nice.. said it was a wrong number.
I said yeah but you called me based on my lat name. Just looking for someone and
I'm on the no call list and it is illegal to robocall people without a way to be removed during the call.
He would not send me a letter confirming that I have been removed and said he would transfer me
to the manager who of course did not answer, I left a message stating my plans to file with the FCC.

On an other note.
Anybody calls you and says this call is being recorded.. you have the right to say NO its NOT!
And follow it with please remove me from your calling list!
