They called me, to say that my daughter had won a $250 WalMart shopping spree. They didn't ask for a credit card number, but insisted they had to speak with her urgently.

We're not doing it. Never NEVER give a card number out to an unsolicited call, no matter what they say.
Just don't do it. You're not going to miss out on anything wonderful.

Called, unknown number

Holly called and said i won a 1000$ online shopping spree. the catch-- i have to buy 40mo of magazine subscriptions, said the lowest package was 4 magazines. i figured i'd see what it was all about. i would've had to pay 29.90/mo for 20 months. that's almost 600$ in the end for any four magazines. The cancellation charge would've been 250 something dollars. i lol'd and said i wouldn't get caught up in that corner.
They kept calling me back cause i first told them i was in the gym, then driving home. Said they were in Tenn. and they called from these numbers- 423-586-8153    423-586-1206     423-586-1098 .
