i got the same situation as all of u guys.  No leave the message and hang up 10 times on that day.  then call again around 7:30 PM. I picked up the phone and got lady's voice dislike native speaker asked for my husband's name.  I asked her " who is it? " in the strong voice then she seems panic and hang up.  then i called back on that number, just the answering machine to leave message and identify on number is (510) 866 - 8008.  that's weired!!!  then she called again 5 mins later; i picked up but she hung up before.  after that didn't have that call again.  I hated this kind of biz , not identify and make too annoying.

It's an off shore bunch run by India IT idiots. Basically they're looking for work and have free time to generate these calls.

Called 7 times today, so far. This is nothing less that harrassment. Filed 7 complaints with the FTC Do Not call list web site. Finally I could not take it anymore and answered.
Telemarketing Life Ins. for Wells Fargo Bank. Called Wells Fargo to verify
that National Union Insurance Company was associated with them. They were.
Wells fargo will have my account removed from their telemarketing Data base.
Told the Wells Fargo Rep that based on the number and types of complaints I
found on this page that I don't believe that it speaks well of their company,
to have a telemarketing company like this representing them.  Maybe they'll
fix it, if enough people call and complain to them.

I called the phone number and reached AIG. I asked to speak with the someone in marketing, that person was unavailable, she asked to take a message. Told her I would like them to stop calling me as I am already on the DNC Registry. She gave me phone number for Marie Barbarie(sp?) Marketing Director, 212-770-1215. I called left a message to stop calling me. I did not leave a return number, I will be calling until I reach someone, no operator was available.

Hope this helps anyone else getting annoying, ill-timed and unwanted calls from this number.

I finally spoke with Marie instead of her voicemail. She did verify the number that kept calling me was one of their companies and she will expedite my name and number to be placed on all of their call centers Do Not Call list within one business day. Being that today is Tuesday, all calls should stop by Thursday, 2/14/08.....we shall see >_<

They call just about every day if not every day. We are listed all of the DNC Registries, yet, I never answer, they never leave messages and they call about four or more times a day it's ridiculous and annoying.

Get Vonage.  They have a blocking service free for no ID or Blocked ID calls.  I rarely get a solicitor.

I got to this webpage after I found it in google. Today I saw a $25 dollar charge in my mortgage bank account at Wells Fargo for accident insurance. After I complained, they removed the charge and they told me that it had been added by National Union Fire Insurance, which I had never heard about before.  I don't remember having been called by them but they probably did and I never listen to their message. I am in the DNC list but once in a while I get some 1800 calling me. I never listen to them and just hang up. But I am still a victim, not just from the calls but they took money from me. I think it's a clear fraud.. a company that I never heard about took money from my bank account.. how can that happen?  and how can I prevent it from happening again?

These f***ers call like 5-10 times a day.  They are too stupid to ever leave a message.  On the odd occasion that they do leave a message, they barely manage to say the last 6 digits of their phone number and then have hold music playing until the message gets cut off for being too lengthy.  They have even called after 11pm sometimes!!!  I live in the USA, they are in the USA, they should know how to read a stupid clock :/

Reporting to FTC for telemarketing violation, illegal to call between 9:00PM and 8:00AM.  That's applicable to what time it is in YOUR timezone, not theirs. Also, anyone who has ever answered their call can report them for violating the rule which states that consumers must be connected to a live person within 2 seconds of answering.  Let's bury them in fines!!!

Call 3-4 times a day, never leave a message, very very annoying.  We are BofA customers and plan to complain to them since I now see this is probably sourced from them.

I was told that it is an automated computer call list that tests when your phone is picked up so that whoever the company is that wants to reach you...knows when you'll answer...nice huh?

Have called 10 times in the past 3 days.  Even called at midnight.  Never leave a message.  I answered the last time; won't ID themselves, or the company, and then the lady with the Southern accent tells me I'm being rude.  She asked to talk to a male relative.  I said no, but that she could stop calling me.  I then hung up.
