i keep getting rude collection calls, there down right insulting demeaning racist & rude for an old old old debt & they keep messing with my credit. they say there not going to stop. i star 69nd 2 or 3 diffrent times these are the two numbers i gotten pluse the two diffrent names 716) 748-8197 ,716)748-8168 (,brockfeild law matter),(brock claim collection agency).all the agents at one time or another claimed to be lawers. when  i asked a diffrent caller &said the last agents name that called before they said there not lawers they just work for lawers then they called me every bad name in the book.& still tryed to get my banking info from me they also gave me fake adresses one was in houston texas it turned out to be a medical factory that makes scrubes they just wont stop calling me.there getting bolder & ruder every call.

Yes there is a statue of limitations, but I would also send the letter certified.

I filed bankruptcy in Apriland it was discharged in September. The freaks served me with a summons on a debt tat was discharged. No lawyer around here is willing to help. This sucks.

they call several times a day and never tell me why they are calling or what company they even represent - I am not returning a call when they do not tell me why they are calling - what the heck is this place - I have not received any mail from them only calls and until I receive mail or they tell me why I will not return the call.

Several calls from 1-866-834-3556 extension 6080, Roxfield and Assoc. telling me I was listed as a reference of someone I've never heard of.  How do I stop these calls?

I've run out of time on a collection account and now this law office is taking action against my social security number. Th call was from a Miss Somebody (couldn't understand name, heavy accent). Numbers on caller ID were either  800 772 1413,877 899 0192, or 866 834 6218.

These folks call 2 and 3 thimes a day sometimes before 8:00am.  Alsways with this is urgent adn importnat and you must reply.  
1.  the name give is Ms Wood  not my name or any part of my name
2.  I do not have any outsatanding debts
3.  I have called them back twice and noone answers the phone

This number calls me all hrs. of the day untill 8.45 pm and week ends. There is always a recording saying he's "Frank", from Brockfield and Assoc. He wants me to call him at 866-834-6218 to discuss an attempt to collect a debt.

If there is a debt I am not paying there is a good reason for it and I most certainly will not be harrassed into doing so. This call has woke me up so many times when I am just dosing off for much needed rest that I am stressed,run down, and sick. I am so angry I'm shaking right now. There needs to be something done about these people that are so desperate for work that they enjoy driving people crazy! Get a life!

I called back and was told the name of the organization is Brachfeld & Associates, with offices in Torrance, California.

No mention of the firm's ability to alter identities by the mere act of leaving a voicemail message.

They are calling my home, I am not the person they are looking for. I have the same last name of the person they are looking for. I already asked them to not to call, but they don't stop. I left about 20+ messages in their voice mail box one day only, one after another, and they do not stop calling.

Keep getting calls from this number at all times of the day and weekend, starting after 8:00 in the morning.  "This is an important call for Fabiola Ramirez.  If you are not Fabiola Ramirez, please do not listen to this message."  These will be either male or female voices -- calling from some law office.  The thing is there is no person with that name at my number, nor do I know anyone with that name.  Always a recorded message, no real person on phone when you pick up the call.  Also, some Jason from the same 866 number calls on my cell phone asking for someone.  When I ask him where is he calling from and why my number, he would not give the name of the company he is calling from.  I have told these people to stop calling my number, it will stop for a few weeks, then starts all over again.  I WANT THEM TO STOP!!  MY NUMBERS ARE ON "DO NOT CALL REGISTER".  Someone do something about this!! This is getting out of hand.  They have no regard for people, sick, old or otherwise.

Received a call from this number at 8:35am from 866-834-3556 for me saying I was to call a Mrs. Marshall at the number, extension (you could not understand her). She did not say what she was calling about or who she worked for.

Stupid s**ts don't even check what numbers they are calling. They keep calling a organization. Finally got hold of a prick and asked who is in charge of automated calls. Gave him my number and then he quickly hung up. Let's see if they call back again.

a debt that was over 15 years old and was cleared years before. They also called me once and I laughed and told them

they were a scam. They tried to tell me I owed money to a credit card company and I told them that was funny as I

have a high credit card limit with them on a new card. I could hear others laughing in the background as I told them

they were a scam. I asked for a phone number as they were posing as the Credit Card company and they tried to give

me an 800 number. I told them I wanted an actual phone number that I could verify was the Credit Card Company and

they told me they did not have one. I said that is right because you are a scam. I have heard this Company

originates out of NY and has phone centers around the country. You would think that with all of the complaints on

this Organization, if you could call it that, would be shut down by Law Enforcement of the States in which they are

working out of and the Firm behind it prosecuted.

They keep calling and threatening me and harrassing me at my place of business, extension 6068 is really rude to me and won't answer any of my questions please make them stop!!

They called my dad several times a day for the pass few month. We always ignored them. Finally I called them back after the 100 times they called. They told me that my dad owed Chase Credit Card the debt. The funny thing was my dad never applied the Chase Credit Card. He didn't even have one. So I told them. They just hung up one me. When I called the second time, there was no answer on the phone. I filed a complain on the "National Do Not Call Registry" after the instance. I don't know if that will be effective. But I wish they will never call again~~~

Same number as above, 866 834 3556 with ext 6057 called us as well, as for my boyfriend by first name, not Mr. So&So. The person, acting like a laywer, said his name was Mr.Mac (no first name.) He threatened me by saying if I didn't have my boyfriend call him by 6:00 tomorrow a sheriff was going to come out to the house, he had a wrong address and tried to get me to give him the correct one before he told me that- which I refused to do. He also insissted that I give my boyfriends cell number to him which I replied if he's a lawyer and was unable to retain that on his own then I was definitely NOT giving out that personal info. He then told me that I didn't care about my boyfriend (calling him by his first name again) if I didn't have him call him back!!!!! I then proceeded to let this guy know what manors are and questioned his law education and professionalism, as he was rude to me the first time he called earlier in the day. (The 2nd time this guy called back it was 8pm!!!)

1- A sheriff would never go out to an address, with say a subpoena, especiallly if you didn't call by a certian time on a certian day. If a subpoena is coming to you-it will find you no matter what. (And my boyfrriend couldn't be a more up-standing citizen and hasn't been in trouble a day in his life with the law.)

2-What lawyers office ask for someone by their first name and proceeds to harrass the individual on the phone with threats and will say nothing but "a matter of this magnitude needs attention." The conversation I had with this young man, aka Mr. Mac, was so passed professional and would definitely be considered harrassment.

3-If you search online- there is NO law firm with the name of Brookefield and Associates.

4-He siad to have my boyfriend or his attorney call, we will do just that- our friend is a lawyer.

What if this is a debt that I may have owed, but from years ago...isn't there a statute of limitations? Are they still allowed to call and threaten legal action?
Should I still take the above steps even if I might actually owe the money?

Left message for my husband and myself, that it was a legal matter. Each call gets more aggressive. Asks that we return the call immediatly. I got the address and I have a certified mailing to send to stop them. It contains the info that I will file with my Attorney General and the FTC. That they are hereby put on notice and must stop the calls. J

Got a message from 866-834-3556 ext 6008.  They called and mentioned my "nickname".  Her name was Shenelle Marshall (sp?).  My wife called and when she got her voicemail she said she doesn't answer phone calls but to leave the phone number and she would call back.  My wife told them
1. she was my wife
2.  if they wanted to communicate with us the best way to do so was through mail.  She also said, if you are calling to confirm our address we still live at xxxx street.  (she did not give the address just the street name).  

I looked this office up because the lady said she was from "Attorney Brokfield's Office (sp?)"  Couldn't find any office under that name.

I've gotten up to ten phone calls in one day from this 1-866 number with no answer.

Caller asking for someone we don't know form Adam's house cat.  Claims to be an attorny or attorny offcie but cannot keep the name or the spelling streight.  Asked for a fax number received a lot of stalling responces.  Asked for a TX bar assocation license 'I don't have that available'  told them they are required by law to provide ... after a bit of stammering place on hold to speak to a supervisor, afer 30-40 min on hold the line went dead.  Call back transferred to music on hold.  Called again and automatically placed to music on hold.  Next phone call from them advised that all phone calls to this number were recorded ...click.

I am sure this is a collection agency.  I had just sent a "drop dead" letter to another company, and within about two weeks I am getting calls from Brockfield and Associates.  I have a funny feeling this is the same company using another name.
