this number called left no message...Brachfield law office continues to harass husband's cell phone which was never connected to any debts.....these people buy old debts from 10 years ago and need to stop harassing us...they were put on the do not calll registry years ago...

I also keep getting  calls from this number saying they are some kind of law group, but you can hear several perple in the background like a call center. It may be time to sue them for violation of the credit act. I am a retired police officer and have no unpaid or late debts.

You may file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission and the local police for any hang-up calls.  In Calif it is illegal under Penal Code 653m - codes vary from state to state.

You may also file a complaint with Consumer Affairs in Texas, the Texas State Bar at: 200-204-4222. They are registered with the Texas Corp Divison at: 512-463-5555 as an "out-of-state" professional business commencing in Aug. 16, 2007.

Just another creepy, lying scum of the earth, bottom feeder, collection agency, trying to collecting fake made up accounts, and hoping you will not realize this until they have your bank information and rob you blind.

I was researching 1-866-837-4402 and came across this website with a lot of complaints.  Didn't know who this was and after some research I found that they represent Chase Bank and/or Washington Mutual and are located in Houston TX (although correspondence is to be sent to CA).  My message said a different Law Group Name (but I could not really understand the man leaving the message) but I found a document online from this exact number and it says it's from the Brachfield Law Group.

have asked them to send a letter showing i owe this that was over a month ago still no letter.I hope layers who go after debt collection companies read this.

receive phone call same time every nite..all u get is a recording "Please continue to hold"..this is repeated several times...then a non=professional male voice saying Hello hello...caller ID just says toll free number. I have reported this, but the calls continue..so annoying.

Never talk to them  over a phone. NO MATTER WHAT.

If they send you a letter, send a Cease and Desist with Debt Validation.
