Repeated calls from collection agency from this number. When we call it, they state our # is not listed.

These bastards only call to harass you, you can't call them back on this number and they don't give you a number to call them back on, that fact and of it's self should I would think should be grounds for harassment.

I've had this too.  They ask for a "Renee" who apparently used to have my number, because I get various calls for this person daily, who, apparently, never paid any of her bills.

directTV is a theiving company and with their offshore support team business with dtv has gone down hill.

Ever seen a password get hijacked on a satellite receiver?  ever think such was possible?  I've seen it occur several times on various receivers and since dtv is able to reset the password over the phone thru their cable connection to the unit just who exactly was hacked--them (and my account) or just the receiver?

DTV refused to refund my overpayment made thru a credit card and now this 866 number calls me after DTV ignored my pleas for my overpayment refunded back to my card.  For weeks they said the check was in the mail but it never arrived.  They refused to talk to my credit card people; apparently wanting to forever keep my overpayment.

NEVER trust what DTV tells you; you must record all conversations with them.  Their big time liars.

Got 5 calls from 1-866-837-6190 this week and missed all of them except maybe one which my mom answered and she said there was some people taling in background and she believes it was a black man from the voice asking for me and then she heard some more talking and then the guy said Oh S*** and hung up.

I received a paupers phone which only gets 68 minutes a month and kept getting recorded calls from these people.  You have no person to talk to when the calls arrive.  I called back the number from a friend's phone and explained.  They told me I will be removed from the database.  We will see

I had messages or calls made to or from 2 different stores somewhere near my house through DTV that they were unable to explain what was going on.  I will give them back treir crappy equiptment and hopefully they will leave me alone.

This number calls me at least once per week for the past month. I do not answer calls from 800-numbers, so I just let it go to voicemail. The only voicemail messages that are left are just of a few seconds of silence, then they hang up. Very annoying. If this is truly DTV, it is pretty ridiculous, since I have never had DTV and this isn't even my home phone, it's my work cell phone!

I keep getting called from this number.  They do not leave a message, and hang up when I answer.

Missed the call.  They did get me up as I am in a wheelchair and did.not get to it in time.  I am on do not call list.  No name and no message.

DIRECTV is in my opinion the biggest liars this side of the moon. They charged me for a service they not only didn't supply, they charged me for something they couldnn't supply. When I told them to discontinue billing me for this service they told me there was a 600 dollar early termination fee. After numerous attempts to reason with their front office, it was apparent they were going to hound me for something that was a ridiculous charge. Everytime I called I was told to write a letter. When I wrote a letter it was never acknowledged. When I called them I was told it was never received. I hope someone can tell me how to tell them legally to cease calling or have them sued.
