Nissan has bypassed Honda in quality so take a leap.

I know someone locally who received a similar call, went along to the appointment, then found their home ransacked when they returned.

Funny they called me to remind me of an appointment I have on Thanksgiving. I'm sure they're not open on Thanksgiving and I never scheduled an appointment anyway.

It Nissan letting you know about being enrolled in their new service program since you just bought a new car from them. Call them back and tell them to put you on their do not call list. Nissan and other companies need to ask permission first when they enroll you in something you never asked for. Then again, manners don't seem to mean sh*t to anyone these days, least of all mega-corporations.

i'd pick my 350z over any honda. Sorry!
Nissan Owner 2011-10-05 20:54:11 Unknown
Jason is an idiot and knows nothing about motor vehicles or communicating in the English language. Nissan makes reliable, safe vehicles but their customer service dept. is annoying.

Already had my Nissan in for service THIS WEEK based on what the maintenance record recommended. There is no reason to be calling me at 9 pm CST when I get up at 4 am to go to work. Please stop calling. When I need service I will call you.

Called them back and said I sold the car -- stop calling.
Valley Girl 2011-06-06 21:03:18 Unknown
They called at 7:33 p.m. PST 5/23/11. I let it go to the machine; no message was left. If it is Nissan (we own two), why can't they identify themselves or leave a message, even if it is automated? Annoying...
Riecer 2011-06-06 21:03:18 Unknown
Just got a call from this # about 10 minutes ago. If it is program promotions schpeel, the voice asked if I was "Vanity Holestopper". Come on. Yes I do NOT want calls from this #, nor do I own a Nissan, signed anything for an oild change, etc. Thanks.
Dave 2011-06-06 21:03:18 Unknown
Nah, leave him alone. Probably better not understood.
katsura 2011-06-06 21:03:18 Unknown
Jason? you should: learn how to use? punctuation correctly, Then! perhaps we could understand you?
Yolanda 2011-06-06 21:03:18 Unknown
Nissan Service Appointment reminder automated call. They remind you that you have service appointments at your local Nissan dealerships. I like this.
Jo Anna 2011-06-06 21:03:18 Unknown
I have owned a car for forty years. Why now, do I need someone to tell me its time for my car to be checked. I known when I bought my car. I also know when it time for a check up. A sticker on the windshield tell me when its time to come in. I love my Altima, just please stop the calls.
Josh 2011-06-06 21:03:18 Unknown
I love my Nissan. They call, I don't answer. What's the big deal?
annoyed 2011-06-06 21:03:18 Unknown
Caller ID says "unavailable"..My daughter bought a Nissan and theu call all the time. I will never buy a Nissan.
teacher 2011-06-06 21:03:18 Unknown
anyways is not a word, Jason.
Mark 2011-06-06 21:03:18 Unknown
Just answer the call and tell them you had it serviced at an independent garage and to remove your name
Jason X 2011-06-06 21:03:18 Unknown
hahaha. you guys bought Nissans, you should have read the fine print.
they can't sell your information. Why didn't you buy a quality vehicle? Spend a few extra dollars for a real car. If you want to go Japanese go Honda? thats what they try and rip off anyways.
Jason B 2011-06-06 21:03:18 Unknown
It's Nissan, they've called me every night for the past week and after repeated request to remove my number, apparently when I signed the agreement to do an oil change a few months ago, the fine print also included a clause allowing them to make marketing calls, email and direct mail literature. They will also sell your info to other companies who they feel will provide me great service. Great...now everybody and their brother will start calling...
