This caller told my 91 yr old father that they were his health carrier and they had a revised health card to send him on his coverages which would only cost him $39 per month.  They wanted his bank info for auto payments, etc.  He advised him that his daughter handled all of his accounting and they would have to contact me for any info.  They hung up immediately.  I called the phone number to find out who was calling, and a recorder answered "Customer Service.  Please leave your name and number".
I hit the "O" key to get their operator and a recording told me that the "operator was busy".
No reputable company would have a phone contact where they didn't give the company name.
Beware of this phone number.

I believe my 85 yr old mother with dimentia has been scammed by this company called Med Care, or that's what's on the credit card statement.  I have faxed Power of Attorney to the company and they said they would credit the $470.00.  They gave me an incorrect fax number the first time.  The company telephoned my Mother and while they were still talking, my Father got on the line and told the company to cancel anything my Mother had done and explained the reason.  He thought he made himself clear, but they charged her credit card anyway.  I've been reading horror stories online from folks that were scammed by a company named Med Care RX.  I'm thinking they're the same company.  Now, I'm going to call the credit card company and the  BBB.  Any info on this company would be greatly appreciated.

My mother was just scammed by the same people.  It's US Medical Trust.  The "salesman" started telling me I didn't know what I was talking about and then got obnoxious.  I ended up yelling at him to never call again!  I have never yelled at a stranger on the phone.  BEWARE!   SCAM!!
