Love it, yes, LOU learn to spell. And secondly, harassment is harassment.  If someone's bill has been placed in collection it could be because they have fallen on hard times, and if they could pay it they would. Calling them 100 x's is not going to get it paid.  As well, stop acting like it could not be you on the receiving end of the call.  I have a graduate degree and am out of work.  It can happen to anyone.

I received a phone call this morning, 2nd one actually in the past couple days in reguards to my ex-husband.  Now I know he has outstanding debt but I got the same Maggie long at North Star Location Services with a reference number.  What is this?

They've been calling my number, even though the person they're calling hasn't lived in my house since 2006. I tried to tell this to a guy who calls himself Mister White. But he got an attitude and hung up on me. If you ever wondered where people work when they don't have the people skills to make it at McDonald's, wonder no more. If you're a total loser looking for a mindless job, call this number and ask for Personnel.

Sorry this is so long: I guess I like detail.

First off, I'm 15. This company has been looking to talk to my deathly ill mother for quite some time. They've called my cell phone repeatedly during school. Finally, I called one of the numbers back. It rang once and immediately  a guy with a foreign sounding accent said my mother's name. I said no, and told him my name and said she's my mom. He told me all this crap about how I needed to get her to call them, but he wouldn't even tell me the company's name. After beating around the bush several times by saying "Your mom will know who we are," he finally told me Northstar and hung up. I called back immediately because it pissed me off that he just hung up like that - and i wanted to know what they wanted - , he answered quickly with "Hi, Casey" - it totally creeped me out. I asked what this company does and what they want and he got a really rude, snooty tone and told me it's none of my business and it's for my "mommy" blah, etc. I asked him why are they calling my cell phone (like I didn't know) and he started this creepy attempted intimidation crap, telling me they're "gonna keep calling and calling every one my mom knows." It was something like out of some psychological thriller. I asked him something like what he thinks he's "like a mobb boss or something," called him a do***ebag and hung up.

Downstairs I heard my mom's cell phone ringing, and GUESS WHO!?! - stalker Mike from Northstar. From there my parents argued with him and my dad cussed him out for talking to me the way he did. arrgggg

oh, by the way- the mike guys voice changed. at first he pretended to have an indian/oriental accent, then he sounded like a normal dude from the Jersey area.

Maggie Long from northstar locater services keeps calling my house all hours of the day leaving a message to call back for my ex-husband who has been gone from this address and phone # for 8 years.  The phone # is different from the above ones but the idea is the same and it is the same person...... what's up?

How do they even get our numbers anyways, i have changed my cell phone number and just got my house phone number and they are calling me at work i dont give anyone my home or work and they call me constently?! What do they want anyways?! There website isnt even vaild anymore is it a scam?

Ok now lets talk..I work for NorthStar Location Services and we are doing a job and that is to collect on a debit, now lets think why did the account get to this status that its with our organization? I have done collections for over 17 years and let me tell you people are rude and run from thier responsibilites, If you owe the money than pay it or talk to us we will work with you to help resolve the matter or just dont pay it thats fine its your credit really not mine. Now on the second note if we are calling you and you do not know the person just let us know and we will remove the number no problem, but people seem to run and hide from the problem they themselves created.. As for rude people ok I can understand that but this is not the easiest job to do and if you been hung up and cursed at for 100 times in a day you would be a little rude yourself but we have Quality Assurance team that listens to all the calls and any rude behavior is not tolerated and the person will be fired over it. This company has been in business since 1975 and they are not scam artists we are here to do a job and that is to collect a debit, that who caused not me..
