They called me from after my wreck asking me if I needed to see a chiro. I went. Got checked out. The place I went to has been there for decades. So when asked the doctor WHY the cold call? Turns out insurance companies don't want to go. Makes sense BC the adjuster in my accident only wanted to give me $409 for $1200 in damages. When I told him I went in for the free chiropractic checkup, he bad mouthed the chiropractor and basically flipped out about it. The chiro never even charged me BC he said treatment wasn't necessary.

I just received a call from this number. I tried to ask him who he was with but he wouldn't tell me. He said that he knew he was irritating me and hung up on me.

Harrasing calls

Got a call from this number about 3 weeks after my automobile crash. Said is works for chiropractic clinic and got my number from the police report. After much questioning he got very upset and said he was hanging up now. Not very professional whoever he works for.

They called me and were very polite.

These people called me this morning also about an auto accident I had less than 12 hours ago -- they are from a chiropractor's office - they are worse than attorneys!

I wouldn't call this a "complaint". I just wanna leave this for people to know my experience with 8668591577. These people called me after my car accident to offer a free doctors visit. After they left me a message on my machine, I returned the call. They were very polite and helpful, unlike my experience with the insurance adjuster who handles my claim.
Personally, I'm glad that these make these calls. I didn't need there services but as for telemarketers go.. they were very professional.

I received a call from this number a day after my car accident. they wanted to know if I wanted to see a doctor. I didn't at the time but I did take all their information down. A week later I decided to go because my back pain wouldn't go away. Never got billed for the visit.
Alan Porter 2011-06-06 21:03:25 Unknown
That's peculiar.... they were extremely helpful when I called.
Harold 2011-06-06 21:03:25 Unknown
The person calling from this number is very rude. They call and talk to you like you were expecting them to call you. When you tell them you don't want to see "The Dr". They get VERY rude and keep calling and hanging up.

Unethical are the insurance companies desperate to settle cases before ALL assessments are made after a car accident.... including doctors visit. The reason medical groups call and offer free exams are because they are aware of the greed and callousness insurance adjusters are to close a claim and offer a quick settlement, leaving millions of law-abiding americans with without the proper medical care after a car accident.
Be smart. Go get checked out and if a doctor offers a free check-up... do it!

So I got in an accident and the next day I got a call from this number. Comes out to be a doctors office to offer me a free check-up. Didn't take the offer bc all I felt was a minor soreness. When I told my adjuster about it, he flipped out and cursed the existence of the person who called to offer me a screening. Because the insurance man acting the way he did, I called 18668591577 back to get more info and eventually made an appointment. Went to the place(they were local) and got the free checkup. It was FREE, no one got billed. The people at the doctor's place were pretty laid back. Anyways, I WAS injured. What was a "slight" discomfort came out being 3 vertabrates in my neck and back area that were out of place or "disaligned". Even got xrays to show it. The doctor billed the atfault insurance for this therapy. Looking back on it, it kind of pissed me off they way the insurance guy reacted to the fact that I "might" get checkout. Later after going online I learned how much money insurance companies spend on NOT paying accident damages and how much more the spend on lobbying on making it difficult for people to get proper compensation for accident damages and injuries. People think that insurance companies hate and are oppose to each one, but the truth is that the entire insurance industry is one big gigantic army all on the same side... their goal is to make some SERIOUS money creating laws to collect money from drivers.
So when a rinky-dink doctors' office calls my house to offer a free checkup, I ask myself.. who is the bad guy here? To me clearly is the entire insurance giants who have billions in the pockets and want to deny or give as little possible to the person laying at home in pain with no car.

Thank ya'll for calling me. This was the right call at the right time. I got checked out for free when I was in pain and the insurance company didn't wanna hear it.
I also wanna apologize to the person who called me from this number. My girl cursed ya'll out cuz she ain't know no betta. Ya'll know how dem white broads act whenever an 800 be calling the house.(all offended and s**t) She got hers... lol She ain't gonna be acting all stupid no more.
will 2011-06-06 21:03:25 Unknown
I wanted to apologize to whoever called from here on behalf of my dumb-b***h wife. She took it upon herself to curse out the dude who contacted me from just bc they weren't from the insurance. First of all, the call was for ME not her. Secondly, I don't see what's wrong with what you guys do. The insurance has given me the run-around and the guy who IS my adjuster keeps playing. Fortunately, I don't need to see the doctor. But if I did, I'm glad there's somewhere to go other the an ER. I know I wouldn't get billed bc it WASN'T my fault.

I bet you like to get "rear-ended"! fag!

you mean "pseudo" not sudo... dumbass!
blackguy 2011-06-06 21:03:25 Unknown
Which INSURANCE spokeperson makes THE MOST money!?!?
a) the black guy from State Farm
b) the GEICO gecko
c) the Geico Cavemen
d) "Flo" from Progressive
There answer is "b", mainly bc the gecko has been around longer but profits go directly to the insurance companies. Aside from that, the gecko doesn't collect a salary.
carl 2011-06-06 21:03:25 Unknown
The guy who originally did the voice for the GEICO gecco was fired after demanding an increase in pay after the ad was a success. Besides the fact that the gecco alone has helped create profits in the billions. Insurance execs constantly change the person doing the funny british accent rather than to pay more than $2k for a commercial. That explains why the funny lizard keeps changing voices and accents.
Talk about cheap!

I was just in an accident (got rear-ended) and then I got a call from this number. It must be an ambulance chaser.

Melissa 2011-06-06 21:03:25 Unknown
I keep getting calls and voicemails from these people about scheduling a drs appt after my car accident. I have already told them several times that I am already seeing my doctor and chiropractor to take care of my injuries but they won't stop calling.
Betty 2011-06-06 21:03:25 Unknown
Received a call about an accident that I had last night. It was a doctor's office wondering if I wanted to come in and be checked out after the accident. Obviously, whoever this is is following the accident reports and either desparate for business or trying to suggest that you might have a problem. This borders on the unethical in my mind.
K 2011-06-06 21:03:25 Unknown
RECD A MESSAGE TO CALL IN REFERENCE TO AUTO ACCIDENT. THOUGHT IT WAS THE INS. CO. ABOUT MY ACCIDENT. COME TO FIND OUT IT IS A "DRS OFFICE" WANTING TO KNOW IF I WANTED TO SCHEDULE AN APPT. TO BE SEEN AFTER THE ACCIDENT. THEY CALLED BECAUSE OF THE ACCIDENT REPORT. MAN...TALK ABOUT HARD UP FOR BUSINESS. THESE TYPE OF CALLS/PEOPLE ARE ANNOYING. DONT YA THINK I WOULD SCHEDULE W/MY OWN DR. BEFORE SOME OUT OF THE BLUE PEOPLE THAT CALL BECAUSE OF AN ACCIDENT REPORT? GET A REAL JOB.
