Do NOT ever talk to them or PAY them.   There are FAKE debt collectors calling from all kinds of numbers, companies, etc., with indian accents most of the time.   They use VOIP technology to make the calls appear like they are from the US.   You can tell by beeping, background noise, reverb, etc. that the call has been rerouted.  They steal your information through hacking such as - when you apply for a loan online, pay bills online, make a hotel reservation, etc.  Also if you apply for a payday loan online through a LOAN AGGREGATOR, your information is no longer secure - it is sent out to 100s of "bad debt lenders" aka thieves waiting to steal your id and money.   Oh and they call family members and coworkers and break every debt collection law there is by claiming there is a warrant against you, a "restraining order" filed against you (dead give away as this is the wrong terminology to use in collections), etc.

Is there a device I can get somewhere, that I can use on these unwanted calls, that says "The number you are calling has been disconnected" or something similar?

The call is from a collection agency, I don't think Dave works for the colleccmpany, seems to me that he is an accountant. Just make arrangements to pay the bill or or if you can't pay it - write the company for a charge off or file banfrupcy, then the call stop

This place calls every day asnd don't leave a message. I've called it back and some with accent answers and can't un derstand them.They won't leave a name. I'm going to report them for haressment.

get this call from this number everyday asking for the same person. so i told them that i don't know this person than they won't stop call again so i say maybe whose ever yall are looking for is gone out of town but i do not know that person. so the a** holess asks me where did they go. I hangs up this ding dong keeps calling back.and yes it is a foreign person faking like he don understand.you freaking jack***...What kind of new crack is he on.

I figured out a way to beat these guys at their game.  SAVE their numbers they call you from.  This way, Tate & Kirlin shows up on your display.  I guess they could call from more than 5 different numbers and I can only fit mobile, home work, fax and pager into my memory.

But there's what I do.  This way when my phone rings I can see right off who it is.  It will take some updating, visiting this site regularly but that's what I do.

Of course, make arrangements to pay bills if this is why the turkeys are calling you.  Myself, when a human being doesn't leave a message I don't return calls.  When they're jerks I blow them off as far as talking goes.  I just write or fax them.  If they can't manage written communication, I have a good debt settlement attorney I'll be using and he'll handle all the guff for me.

TKA trys to collect mostly on bad debt that is past SOL (statute of limitation) or (sh*t out of luck).  SOL varies from state to state.  They do not understand as well as most people, that once a debt is SOL it can not be collected on.  Most have be written off already by the original debtor and reported to the IRS as earned income against the debtee.

They call several times a day and do not leave a message

I have become disabled and no longer able to pay any unnecessary debts.  I get less than $700/month from SS Disability.  I get calls from all sorts of collectors now.

I have written several cease and desist letters.  We'll see if they stop calling.  In the meantime, I have disconnected my answering machine and will not answer my phone unless I recognize who it is on caller ID.

One of the gals I work with, but in a different dept, called me to say that some woman was looking for me.  This middle eastern woman - who was almost indecipherable - started asking me what the last 4 #'s of SSN were.  Right.  I'm gonna blab that to someone I don't know, won't tell me why they are calling or even where they are calling from.  I asked her approx 3 times what kind of company she worked for and she answered like a true politician - so I never did get a straight answer out of her.  What really p*sses me off is that this woman called my workplace and started asking questions to the wrong Jennifer. But then will only say she has "personal business" to discuss.

you have to be careful.. collection agencies will make these types of phone calls, pretending they want something else, and when you call back , that's how they get you on the phone..

Yes it's Tate & Kirlin - collections. They accepted my certified letter to cease contacting me by phone but after 2 months the calls began again so now I can file FDCPA charges against them.

Received a call today at 2:36 p.m.  The Caller Id said SASKATCHEWAN TE with the number 646-360-1661.  These same people had called before from 646-360-1659.  He said he'd leave me a message and he did with my sister.  He said his name was Douglas Matthew and that the company was TKA and to call to 866-923-5193.  Don't know what it is about, but I am looking for work and I hate these people taking advantage especially when you are unemployed.

Keeps calling my cellphone after I switched from a 206 to a 409 number. I'm about to pitch a huge fit to Verizon if this doesn't stop; I did NOT have this problem with spam and s**t when I still had a Seattle number.

This is a bill collector, Tate and Kirlin Associates or TKA for short.  They have nothing to do with Verizon.  They are very annoying and like to ignore demands to remove my number from their system even though the person they are looking for does not live in my home.

Its a bill collector, though he wouldnt discuss the matter with me.  Really pretty softball, compared to some of the other wrong numbers I've received.  They guys name I talked to was "james".  Probably Indian, given his slight accent and the fact that I heard the ring fade in and fade out, as calls that are rerouted overseas are sometimes want to do.

This is a Collection Agency for the Credit Card First Premier Mastercard.  Just wanted to let you guys know.  They call me 5 times a day.  It is ridiculous , and the bad thing is that I have told them over and over that they have the wrong person.

I think it is a bill collector too.  I know they are very annoying, but if you want to have some fun, just string them along and talk as long as you can. Talk about anything except what they want to talk about.  try it it's fun!!

gOT A CALL FROM A YOHAN TAYLOR ASKING FOR ME.  WHEN HE SAID HIS NAME I KNEW IT WAS ONE OF THOSE CALLS.  HE SOUNDED FOREIGN AND THE NAME IS AMERICAN.  THEY JUST DON'T GIVE UP.

Recieved a call from TKA "Roy Rogers" some asian guy, how original. Left messag with family member for me to call him. I am currently unemployed, so send me something in writting, you will get paid when I get a job. The last thing I need is to have these calls, while I am looking for a job.
