Call is from NCC of Scranton, PA--debt collectors.

Please be careful from calls from this number they may well be scam artists trying to pose as a debt collect for Sallie Mae. I have already been scammed twice by this company. Don't put yourself at risk. Make sure they provide you literature before you do anything through the phone

Sam Davenport, accn't rep for debt collector keeps calling and leaving messages for Jenny Crespo, on my cell. I called asking to have my number removed, since I am not the person he is looking for and do not know anyone by this name. They were rude and hung up on me when I tried to explain the problem.

how did it happen?  They are leaving me messages saying "they can help me" actually very polite messages, which in itself sounds odd.  Did they not pay Sallie Mae after collecting from you?
