These people call many times and refuse to identify themselves.  They become extremely volatile and rude when questioned and hang up immediately.

Finally decided to answer this annoying call from 866-928-2610 .   In short,  I asked for clarification of the product & ticked off the guy who called.  So he said, very literally, "I JUST WANT TO TELL YOU TO GO F*** YOURSELF, YOU ARE A COMPLETE MORON!"  & he hung up on me.  I am completely stunned.

Now the long story, the caller, Mark S. (forgot the last name, he said it so fast) on the phone said he was calling re:  my  Bank of America card.  Because I was in such good standing w/them, they wanted to offer me a special offer, blah, blah, blah...   Something about a joining a no risk  World Discount Shopping & Travelers Club.   I gave him NO personal info about myself, but he  knew my name, addr, & the last 4 digits of my  BoA card.  I immediately called Bank of America to find out who their affiliates are that they sell our contact info to but the gentleman at BOA  coldn't find anything that seemed to match this club name.  Maybe the company calling was just a company hired to call on behalf of this club, maybe it was a scam?!  Who knows!   Nonetheless, very creepy & now I've learned that your bank does distribute/sell your contact info to 3rd party callers ("affiliates")  & you have to call your bank  to get yourself taken off the calling/email list.  So pathetic!!!

While writing this comment, they have called back again.  This time I asked for the supervisor.  I was told "OK", put on hold & disconnected.

If they answer after you say HELLO.. Ask them their address from where they are calling from BEFORE You continue then ask for a supervisors name.  ASK if your name can be deleted from their database, BUT make sure you get their address (In ST PETE FLORIDA)?
If you get the address pass it along to everyone else..

This is driving me crazy and they call on my cell phone. They called me 7 times in one week and I don't answer if I don't know the number. I looked it up on the web and see where they are calling from and not much to go on.  Wish I knew how to get them to quit calling my cell phone...prepaid by the way so I would've wasted my minutes if I answered the phone. I figure if I don't answer they'll quit calling me enventually.

These people call me AT LEAST four times a day and have been for the past 3 or 4 months. Usually I ignore it, but when I do pick up most of the time they hang up before saying anything.  Yesterday I answered and was HARASSED for 20 minutes (I KNOW I KNOW I SHOULD HAVE HUNG UP) anyway they had my full name, last four digits of my debit card and and my home address!

They were telling me that they were a courtesy call and that I was a highly valued customer and that they were going to send me gas cards and a three night hotel stay etc etc to look over their promotion then got me on recording saying "yes" to my personal information!  I know how dumb of me, but it was early and this is my first experience with something like this!  He continued on to say that I would be charged to small fees of 9.95 for shipping and handling of the "free" gifts and when I tried to argue that a WOMAN interjected (so now there is TWO people on the phone) calling me "honey" and nicknames trying to level with me saying it was a "win-win" situation.

They went on to say that if I did not call within 7 days to unsubscribe myself from the offer my card would be charged $99.95 yearly and $19.95 monthly.  When I asked who they were they said they were a company that affiliates with companies I work with.  I was frustrated and harassed to tears and immediately went to my bank and canceled my debit card.  My bank (wamu) said it had to have been a scam.

After reading these comments it freaks me out that they have all the other info and me on a recording!!  I canceled my card yesterday and they called me twice today within an hour and a half! I obviously did not pick up.. Makes me want to change my cell number...

Anyone have any more info??!??!
