ARM keeps calling every week under a new number asking for someone I never heard of. Each time, claims first time they have spoken to me and will put me on do not call list. Right!!!!!

arm is a scarm company , i dont own money or have any pass due payment. i did a bankrruptcy courd in 2012 for all my that was on my credit report by a lawer

I'm not sure of what debt agency it is but they usually call @ 8:25AM or so, 2 times back to back.

Bottom line, if they don't leave a message or send something in writing I don't talk to them.

They called and would not leave a message earlier this week.  Now they keep calling.  We have blocked the number but it will still ring once to let us know they are still trying.  If they would have left a message, maybe we could have addressed whatever they are calling for.  The employee's lack of phone etiquette does not reflect well on the company and whatever they are supposed to  accomplish.

I have gone to the webiste and filed a complaint there....waiting to see if they address the matter.

I had a Cece McNair doing reverse lookups, getting landlord phones where I rent and calling those phones.  The phone to the corporate office is 800 220 3550.  If they pull the same stunt, call and complain.  Please be polite, this receptionist is really a nice person and will look up the manager name of any abusive collector if you request it.

She told me the number being called to my landlord will be removed in 12-24 hours.  Working on databases and so on for a living, I know this can take up to 48 hours for synchronization to happen, that is, for all offices on a global network to be fully updated.

Any collector doing reverse look ups on a person knows they cannot call a number and leave messages about a person's situation in any way whatsoever on a line that isn't the debtor's.  That's very illegal and when it was pointed out that my debt settlement attorney, once engaged, can prosecute as well as deal with them to clear matters up, that was that.

I'm not saying to ignore any bills.  I'm saying you've got rights as a citizen, collectors have rules and laws to abide by.  If they persist and break those laws, well, what a great way to have one's bill paid in full -- sue them.
