They say they're calling from accounts receivable management and know your name but will not tell you anymore until you "verify your mailing address and the last 4 digits of your social". Seemed fishy, so I did not give them this information and hung up after this. I also have AES loans, but they always identify themselves first when calling so I think this number is scamming people and not associated with AES.

I get calls from these guys. I have a student loan from AES (American education services). If I pay it a few days late, they start calling. But I NEVER pay them. I always just pay it to AES when I have it. For example, my bill is due on the 18th. If I pay on the 20th, I get calls on the 18th, 19th and 20th of each month.

I have gotten numerous calls to my cell and home numbers from the number 866-932-6770. Each time an automated message was left saying this was "Accounts Receivable Management" looking for Shawn Williams"
This concerned me because I thought this Shawn Williams someone got a hold of both my cell and home numbers somehow.
I will be blocking this number from both phones lines.

I saw this phone number on my cell phone as a missed call.  Since I don't know anyone with this area code, I searched online and found this site.  I'll be sure to not answer if they call again.

This is a RIPOFF fake company trying to SCAM people into paying a debt TO THEM and not to the actual company the debt is owed to. If you owe Capital One, for example, you should be dealing directly with Capital One! If you wind up paying these idiots you'll still owe your bill at Capital One!!!

First and foremost: NEVER take their calls. ROLL them to voicemail and do NOT RETURN any of their calls. Ever! They call from 866-932-6770 & 800-220-3350 and possibly other numbers.

These mofos are LIARS and between July and January of each year they start their SCARE campaign. All they want is your CREDIT CARD information then it's off to the races. Do not fall for this. It's just another back door boiler room THEIF trying to trick you into giving up INFORMATION to steal YOUR IDENTITY!   Warning!  Have no dealings with these creeps. They will try to rob you blind.

They are listed as ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE MANAGEMENT and complaints about them are all over the Internet. Also see where they duped a HSB customer by looking up The RIPOFF REPORTA online!  They claimed a debt was owed but they would be "willing to settle" the debt. LIE! All they wanted was credit card and other personal info to STEAL YOUR IDENTITY.  Do not deal with these people they are probably calling from somewhere OUTSIDE the USA and if you call them back your phone MAY BE CHARGED for international calls!  If you don't call back THEY  do not KNOW they've caught another victim.

The only way I was able to keep these calls from coming was to have my phone company block the number. The most annoying part was they called my cell phone non stop and since I only have a limited plan, my bill was 3 times the usual amount during the 2 month span they called. I spoke to someone there and was told they would not call anymore, yet it continued. Since I have NEVER had anything go to collections, it was obvious to me there was an error. I have since learned that this is apparently a scam. Hope someone shuts this down!
