I have had yet another call from 1-866-982-9805.  It was at 10:45 this morning (Sunday, 4 Aug).  I answered the 'phone, and when  I did they hung up.  I attempted to call that number but it just rang continually and I did not get an answer.  I find this very annoying - I am a senior and don't need this frustration.

The Montreal office of Leger Web is responsible for maintaining their calling list.  Call them and request your phone number to be removed COMPLETELY from their Database.  If they ask for your name, DO NOT give your name... Your phone number is sufficient for them to find it in their Database and remove it:

Just received another phone call from them again.  Tried calling the number back, but no one answers.  So, I am going to email the company directly.  PAIN in the butt.

This number has called me 6 times in the last 5 days and two of them were today about an hour apart. Each time I answer they hang up. Personally I do not care who they are or how reputable they are because when the call harrass me like this they loose all crediablity!

Got 2 calls from the bi***...who had a deep Haitian or Cajun accent... wanting to attach my credit card # to a survey she would like me to ...as she drawled out..."paartissupate"  in :o  She said... it was" juss" to make it "ofishal-like" ! I told her 4 times NO.....finaly had to hang up on her! The number was blocked.... but Telus Tech told me the # was 1-800-404-2464. Obviously....she was a nasty "phishing for a credit card # & name crook" who has done this before...& sadly she will eventualy find somone who just fell off the turnip truck to make a phoney credit cards out to... & charge up $30,000 in bills ...probably in an hour with her "reltives" or "pimp boyfriend"!!

Oh yes, this bunch called me again today! I will try some of the suggestions and find out what works.!!!

I received a call from this number but they did not leave a message.
Even though I am on the "Do Not Call List", it does not deter these people from calling.

we have been getting phone calls from 866-982-9805 and today i spoke with someone. He wanted to speak to the man in the household. I said he wasn't available and he asked when he would be home...am i being paranoid to think someone wants to know when i am home alone? anyways i told him i was on the do not call list, he got rude and said not my companies list! We are a research firm and can call you and i want to know when the man in your house will be there. We bickered back and forth until he hung up. I called the number back, but no answer. anybody else have an experience like this recently? Would hate for someone to get caught off guard and have to deal with this guy.

This number has been calling me all day, and I feel harassed.  When I see their number showing up I refuse to answer it because it is someone soliciliting.  Is there anyway of tracing this call and telling them to go to hadis and leave me alone!!

After getting a call from866-982-9805 and checked it out online.  One of the other individuals on here suggested calling the following number, 1-800-404-2464.  I called the number, asked to have my number taken off their call list.  The lady  on the phone asked for my number, and said it was no problem.

Does anyone have their email address, that way a person can keep a file as to the requests to be removed from their list.  Once the request has been made 3 times, you call your phone service provider and advide them that you are being harassed by these callers and let your provider deal with it.

They produce surveys that no one cares about, to justify the millions of dollars they receive in government funding to run surveys.

It's all corrupt, like most things in Quebec. Don't answer their questions or confirm anything.

They have up to 10 seconds to say something? Not in my house. They have no more than 2 seconds and we hang up, and that's IF we even answer the phone in the first place. Almost all long distance or toll-free numbers that call us go to voice mail.

hey i have been getting weird calls on my cell phone for MONTHS sometimes 10 per day. i just called the 1800 404 2464 number and asked them to take my number off their system and THEY DID !!!!!!!! do it people, it WORKS !!!

This number called this morning at 7am.

I've been with Shaw phone for some time now, and believe me, I get marketing calls.  
My suspicion is that you work for Shaw.  Sorry.  All part of marketing the company.  $$$$$$$$$

Just got a call from this number, it rang a few times, but when I answered it, there was no one there.

I too have received calls several times, sometimes every day.  I never answer the phone because I have caller ID.

A tip?  Since I switched from Telus to Shaw telephone service, my marketing calls, etc., have dwindled done to almost zero.  

Telus sells their client phone list to marketers, etc.  If you don't want them to do that, you literally have to write to them annually, asking them not to do so.

I somewhat agree, being on the NO CALL list is a joke.  It seemed since we signed on when it first started, we received more calls than ever before.

18669829805--Those are busters. They called my number. When the answer machine started to work, they said nothing and just used all my machine's memory space. Total 2:04 and there is nothing.
Why those busters like to do such fking calls?
