Hi.  Have been getting calls from this 866-989-9960.  I am a Sprint/Nextel customer.  I think it has been calling when I have a balance due on my account and the due date is near; otherwise I don't get calls.

I only took a voice plan on this pocketpc since it was about the same as the Internet only plan; I don't use it for voice calls and have it set to silent all the time.

received this on my sprint phone this morning - no message left.

Received a call today on my cell phone. The caller offered $150 in "services" against my "Sprint Credit". I asked why I had a credit and was told because I had been a loyal Sprint customer for so long. Interesting . . . I have had Sprint service only since July of this year.

I got that call for the first time today as well.  Didn't pick up either.  If you answered it, I hope it didn't eat away at your daytime minutes...has anyone whose received this multiple times called sprint to ask if it is in fact their company calling?  It could be one of those crimes where they offer you all false deals and turn around and have your personal information...be careful.

btw...i tried calling the number back (at 130am), and there was no recording of it being sprint.  it was a message stating "on one is available to take my call at this time.  please call again".  I'm thinking, if it is in fact sprint, it should have gone to sprint customer service or at least have a sprint message attached to it....

this number calls my cell at least 4 times a week, and has been doing so for months!When I answer, no one is there.

They call me over and over and then ask personal information and tell me there is credit on my account, then when I ask about my account they hang up.

The first time they called me, they told me that this was important information about my Sprint account. I told them that I would not give out any information to someone calling me. I called Sprint a few minutes later (to make sure that if that person did indeed work at Sprint, they could finish the record they would leave on the account). I asked them if they had called me, and they said they hadn't. They also had no clue what the phone number was or where it was from either.

Here's the weird thing.  I am a Sprint customer but they are calling my work number, not my cell phone.  First time I answered and they tried to sell me something.  Second time, didn't leave a message.

I've been called several times from this number as well.  I have answered my Sprint cel phone several times they have called and have only heard dead air.  This is a real nuisance!

I get calls from them in groups, but I don't think they are REALLY sprint, because they have my name wrong (it is correct with the REAL sprint), keep asking me about my service plan (I asked them what information they needed since they have all my records, and was told something like "we just need to hear from you so we can make any corrections blah blah blah")  Yeah, right!  I think it is an unfortunate scam that has nothing to do with the real sprint.  Good luck.

Got a call from them at 3 in the afternoon, noone was on the other end. I'm a Nextel customer.

Received many calls on cell last few weeks. Quit answering after 2nd or 3rd when no one on other end would respond! I've been with Sprint for over 15 years. Very happy with their service & hope they get this corrected!

Get calls from this number on my cell phone every few days. No one is ever on the line.

Number on caller ID, they left no message.  I called and the lady said that I should not have received the call since I am not a Sprint/Nextel customer.  She apologized and hung up.

Yes, it call me too, no voice mail.  That stupid number as called many times now.

This number keeps calling my phone and not leaving a message. No one can tell how to block this number from calling me...it's a nuisance. I'm a sprint customer or was...I'm driving over my phone!!!! Don't need it...I've survived these many years without one so I don't need it now...  I won't have a phone that I can't block a number!!!!

I got a call from them. i didnt answer it though because i dont answer numbers i dont know that arent the same area code as mine.

I answered; nobody on the other end. This is the third or fourth call from that number this week. I'm also a Sprint customer.

called 10/4/07 - no message.  rang a few times then hung up.  I am also a Sprint Nextel wireless customer.

A kind Filipino-sounding lady offering free phones from sprint. They knew my name and the fact that I am sprint customer. There was no other exchange of information as I don't trust the caller id. She will call me back a week from now and sounded like she would give phones upgrades with $250 discount instead of the usual $150. You guys might be interested in it after all...

Yep, I don't answer calls when I don't know who they are from.  Then I type the number into Google and almost EVERY TIME it is a Sprint issue like this.  Then I just enter it into my phone book and title it "SCAM" "SCAM2" "SCAM3" etc. and give it a silent ring.  Then I am not bothered again until they start these stupid calls with a NEW number!!

It's Sprint. They called me again even after asking to be removed from their system.

They keep calling because my 2-yr contract is up and they're trying to entice me to stay with Sprint/Nextel.

called at 1:30pm today...no voicemail left... I am a Sprint customer, then again, so is the company that I work for... I sure the 300+ work phones don't start getting spam(?) calls...
