Received a call from someone with an Indian accent regarding updating our Yellow Pages listing.

Lady named "Carol" with very heavy accent calls and asks for "Ann" -I ask where she is calling from and she says "HCL", I ask what she is calling in regards to and she claims "Ann" asked her to call her today but she didn't have a direct number (huh- that's soooo weird!!! lol) I asked when she had requested this and then the story changed and the lady claims there was an email sent requesting a call.  When I asked what date (because "Ann" had been on vacation, the lady stuttered over the date before replying "the 28th"
Yeahhhh..put her on hold and then straight to voicemail.

I answered the phone and their was no response for 2 seconds.  Possibly an autodialer...

Wow.. was out of office for past 4 days.. they called and hung up over 20 times on my voice mail.

They now claim to be calling from "Dell" said my Boss asked them to call back yesterday- suuurreee she did- regarding a "Firewall"
put her on hold. then picked up and put her into voicemail where I am positive she did not leave a message

Could tell this was a boiler room operation by all the voices in the background.  Must be somewhere in India from the accent (just guessing of course).  Asked for some bogus name.  Told them they have the wrong number and hung up.  Added this to my bogus calls list.  Sigh ....  Such a pain to deal with these idiots.

Got one today. Caller hung up after I answered

872-213-9965 called asking for a person he's been told is no longer with us. Recognized the India accent.  Could also hear "call center atmosphere"  in the background. Since he's been told numerous times not to call again; placed him on hold. Researched the telephone number again to be sure this was a Scamer.   He finally hung up.  Will have to do that a couple more times today.  What a waste of time these people are. They know their chances of being "caught" by an authority is slim to none since they are in a foreign country.

Called my work line, no message

I have received daily calls from this telemarketer have told to not call and he's sell Windows XP today and Windows 7 tomorrow

I had the same experience as the rest of you--picked up the call and the caller immediately hung up.  Do let us know if anyone figures it out.

Just received the call.  Answered.  They hung up without comment.

Another bunch of Godless devils and animals scammers and fraudsters calling on a phony computer-generated or tie-line number.  More foreigners that can't speak understandable English, that think we are stupid enough to give them personal data, SSNs, credit card numbers, etc. so they can steal everything.  This is another indication that we must urge our elected reps in DC to significantly strengthen the DNC laws to prohibit the use of any number not issued by a legitimate telephone company (common carrier), plus no soliciting for any political, charitable, survey, opinion research, or telemarketing, no calls unless the real name of the company is shown on Caller Id, etc.  This is another example of why everyone must PLEASE write their elected reps in DC to demand strengthened DNC laws with severe dollar penalties and prison sentences. The strengthened law must include the requirement that ALL businesses and individuals must be correctly identified on Caller Id, no use of computer-generated phony numbers or tie-lines, no repeated calls, and require them to leave a message.  We need call control, not gun control!

5-7 calls an hour. I'm going to hang-up when I see that #. I would not answer this call!

This phone number 872-213-9965 called at 14 times between 3:00 a.m and 4:00 a.m. finally eaded putting the phone in a drawer with the talk button pressed.  There is another number 425-9064-4144 that is also associated with this number.  I tried to redial but got the message "Majic Jack customer is not answering calls at this time".  I work out of my home so it is very disturbing.

Got 2 calls on my cell phone today from this number. They did not leave a message as I don't answer calls that are not in my contact list. Usually a scammer or solicitor because I don't give my number out.

I just told them they were calling into a potential homicide investigation and to please hold on the line. I would be needing their full name, address, phone, email and their availability for questioning at my location?

They leave pretty quickly. And it is more entertaining than telling them to stop calling.

We received a call from this number at 11:11 p.m. EST.  They immediately hung up and there was a fast busy signal.  What is up with this phone number?

We keep getting calls from this number and if the person they ask for is not available they just hang up.
Person sounds like they are from India.  They call two to three times a day.

These people called three time within a one hour period.  All three times it was a different person, from a supposed different company.

Called number after numerous calls without messages, VoiceMail announces "Mr. Frank of the Medgar Marriott Suites based in Lautry/Daltrey?" must be a fake voice, and fictitious address. Spoofed by ?

Caller ID had 0018722139965.
I greeted the caller and they promptly hung up.

They call me at least every day. I always ignore the number as it is unrecognized and they never leave a VM. One of these days I will chose to actually answer the call but instead of offering a greeting, I will scream in a loud voice "STOP CALLING THIS NUMBER" which I've successfully done in the past. I really hate these scum suckers.
