I rec'd a call from this number 15 mins. ago.  A male,  with a thick Middle-eastern accent said that he needed my address to mail a package via UPS that was held up in the delivery process.  I  replied,  saying:  "This is a G.D.  scam....and don't ever call me again."

Called me saying he had a check for me man ha a middle eastern accent he said he works for ups when I told him I was calling ups he hung up

REcd the same type of call on my cell phone.  Said they were 1 hour away from my house and I had to hang up and call Mr. John Cartwright 1-876-423-6064 ext 9 and give him package #0752 and tell him that I just got off the phone with Mr. David Mason....they were 1 hour away from my house with a brand new car and a check.  I told him I thought this was a scam and he said it was far from a scam that he was a "good" christian man.  I hung up and called the other number, got a voice recording and told them if they were who they said they were, they would have my number and to call me back.....I immediately get another call from 1-876-423-5061 which said he was Mr. David Mason and he asked me if I called.  I said yes I did but got a voice mail and left them a message.  I then proceeded to ask him why this number showed from Jamaica and he said that it was the cell phone maker....I told him NOOOOO, the call it's self was coming from Jamicia and why?  Before I could ask again, he hung up on me.  THis is a SCAM and they are trying to get money off people...DON'T TAKE THE BAIT!  The caller was from 1-876-2581-5061 and he wants you to call 1-876-423-6064.  I was going to tell him that if they were 1 hour away from where I lived, give me the call phone number of the person driving the car and I would call them....he never gave me the opportunity to ask the question.......RATS.....hope they don't get in touch with an older person that thinks they really have won something..........

Same call as the others...publishers clearing house they would be at my house in 45 minutes 2 state toppers and a UPS driver Arabic accent said to call the 876-251-5061 ext. 9 ask for John cartwright when I laughed and told them it wasn't real they hung up..is there no way to stop this

Just got one (from 876-251-5061) from an a$$hole Jamaican informing me of my publishing clearing house. He informed me that two of his butt buddies were slated to deliver a package to my door in my city [he actually named the city too].

He asked me to call a 1888 number, and after I told him his number was bullsh!t he said I was a "fish."

"...A fish?" I said sarcastically.

"Yes... you are a fish... like a fish in the sea... a fishy"

"Oooooh, so I won a fish?" I said mocking this dumb s***.

Then he hung up.

Bottomline: come to my house, you little t**ts! I'm a shoot-first-ask-questions-later sort of an individual.

Now you got scammers pretending to be law enforcement, hospitals, business, or whatever their sick minds can come up with.

I received a call on my cell phone from "Restricted", which means the number is being blocked for whatever reason.  I know a couple of people whose numbers come up this way because of their profession (law enforcement, mental health professionals, etc.), so I answered it.  It was a man with a heavy accent telling me I won a large prize from Publisher's Clearinghouse (I played along to get more info, I had a feeling it was a scam).  He told me he was scheduled to deliver it to my home this afternoon, but that I had to call their office in Las Vegas and ask for a Mr. Johnson at extension 5. The number he gave me was 876-251-5061.  I purposely don't have a home phone because I get so sick of calls like this.  I've been on the Do Not Call List for cell phones for years, but like Marcie said, so much for that!

They are sweet voiced women with a bad intent. Sometimes you might get calls from harsh voiced women as well. They are all the same, crooks.

I had a call from this number at about 1pm today.  We've been bothered by tons of "junk" calls -- LOTS from various sweet-voiced women about credit cards --  so I've just developed the habit of ignoring calls from numbers I don't know.   If what they have to tell me is important, they'll leave a message.   So much for the Do Not Call list!!!

I received a call from 876-427-0784 saying that I had one the Publisher Clearing House.  I was told I one a car a cash and that they would come to my house today to deliver it.  I did not give them any information and they finally hung up.

Just received a call from 876-887-2039 and wanted me to call 876-251-5061 Ext. 227 to receive a large prize that I had won from Publisher Clearing House.  They anted my information or I could not receive the prize that would arrive at my house with 2 officers to deliver it.  If I did not give them my information I would have to forfeit a large prize.  The person that they told me to ask for was John David.  This all happened 12-10-12 at 11:09am on my cell phone.

Just googled1-876-251-5061 because I too just received a call saying that I won the Publishers Clearing House!!  SICK PEOPLE!

I recieved a call from 876-251-5061 and was told by a male with a "thick" Middle Eastern accent, that it was publisher's clearing house.  I called the number from another number and they answered Publisher's Clearing House, a female with a "thick accent."  Said they had something for me, but they didn't have the correct name and when I said, "this doesn't make sense"  the man said "F--- you" and hung up.
