Called this morning but hung up on me when I started asking if this was potentially a scam.  Appears from other posts its an old one.  They send you a check.  You deposit it in your account and then you send them a check for "whatever".  Their check to you bounces and your check to them gets cashed.  If it's too good to be true....it probably is.

Received two calls from this number within a minute of each other. I didn't pick up and filed under SPAM in my phone directory. Call ID said from Jamaica, a giant red flag

This "person" has called my house for two days. Says I'm a sweepstakes winner.
Yesterday (unknown caller on my ID)  said If I send a $1,400 money gram to Joseph Lewis in Memphis, TN. This would cover my portion of the tax on my "prize". Of course a scam.
I didn't think about what my phone bill will be as I wrote down as much info as I could.
I called the bank in Memphis where this guy said he works and read all the info and phone numbers to the manager. She said she will send along to her manager for any investigation that may be possible.

I got a call from the number 876-366-7537 and also the 876-597-8743 and he keeps calling back and he call within
 minutes     for 4 times while i was gone last night.  Then he has called back this morning and I did not answer the phone.  So I am thinking that he will be calling back again all day.  He said that I had won 500,000.00 and that all I needed to do is send him a 250.00 reload card and he would have my money out to me in 3 hours.  I hung up on him three times and he still called back and said that it was ligit and that he is sure that I could use 500,000.00.  Sure, any one can use that kind of money.  He told me that he was from California.  Comes up on my Caller ID as Pots Phone JM.  The first call that I had gotten was at 5:25pm and then one at 5:32, 7:01 7:02  7:02 and 7:03 then at 9:44 this morning.  I have really had it with all these calls.

Called asking for my mother, an 88 year old woman with cognitive impairment. When I asked who he was, he said a good friend of my mothers. When I told him I didnt recgnize his number, or his name (Jim) and how did he know her, he got angry and hit me with some expletives. I hung up and googled his number, Im sure he is a scammer that was able to get my number as the legal guardian of my mother.

My wife received the same call and simular scam, I did research and found the 876-285-5020 number as well as a second one he used 876-597-8743 to come from Kingston, Jamaica. I even got the guy (a middle eastern accent) to fax me all the info related to the Sweepstakes that we won. He was able to convince my wife to call him back which racked up a $20.00 charge on our phone bill.
I emailed the US Embassy in Jamaica as well as the Jamaican Embassy in the US and received responces with links to file complaints with the Federal Trade Commision, the FCC and a few more.
The US Emassy in Jamaica also sent me a link to a page about "Project JOLT" which explains about the many scams comming from the 876 area code and others.
Warn as many people as possiable, they have made Billions on these scams.
Thank God for the internet to be able to learn about this stuff very quickly.
Remeber if it sounds too good to be ture "it is most likely a SCAM".

Phone call from this number saying i won a prize refused to give me information and did not know my name, what a joke.

Getting same calls daily from 1876-403-1100 and a bunch of BS about 2.5 million dollars that would be delivered by UPS today BLAH BLAH....OH and please have a check for %800.00 to get your 2.5 million.  Mr. Sheldon wants an acknowledgement to 29 Church St., St. Mary, Jamaica, West Indies.  Yah Right!Caller ID: 876-285-5020
