I received a telephone call on 6/27/14 from  a person posing as Mr. Andy Goldgreg, the Gen. Mgr. of Publishers Clearing House. He told  me I had won $ 2.5 million and a Silver Mercedes Car as my bonus prize. After the long explanation of my so called winnings, he told me the only thing I had to do to claim these prizes was to purchase a claimer's card. I told him, PCH advises, "you don't have to purchase anything to become a winner." I knew he was a scammer trying to get credit card or banking info which I did fall submit and called him a scammer. Our phone call ended.

Received two calls from this number in the past 10 minutes.  Seems that it is a telemarketer or scammer.  My number is on the FTC's Do Not Call list, also.  

Got call from this number, claiming to be Andy Goldberg from Publisher's Clearing house.  Asked for a person from a differing number.

These people keep calling , harrassing, and cussing me and my family. They're claiming we won 2million dollars.and I responded no thanks. Please help stop these annoying calls.!!!!!!

I just received a phone call from this number.  I answered it because my parents happen to be on a cruise in that area.  It was a man.  He said, "Well, hello," in a somewhat flirtateous manner.  I turned on my ice-princess voice and snapped that I didn't have time for this and asked what he wanted.  He hung up!

Received call, did not answer. I am a teenage girl. Scared the hell out of me. Thank god for all of your comments.

just got a call from this number on my house line that we very rarely use and never give out. the man said i won a sweepstakes. i said no thanks and hung up. googled the number and just read about the sweepstakes lottery scam.

He called said he was calling from Jamaica, NY. Said I won a lottery and I laughed in his face then he hung up.

The latest incarnation of the scam from this number is that it poses as Publisher's Clearinghouse. Been making the rounds here in Florida.

Father recieved  this phone call said they were from Readers Digest and they wanted him to give them 200 dollars to claim his prize of 22 thousand.   said he was in las vegas.    i got on the phone and was called obscene names and then my husband got on the phone and told him come over and try to collect . come to me in person.. the little chicken s*** just proceeded to call out vulgarites.     He is calling from Jamaica.      called local FBI and gave them the number.   take that Mr . Doucebag!!    when i called back, said it was a moncrieth or some such agency an leave a message.    cant hardly understand him.. must have his balls in his mouth.   really.. would a rep from readers digest start calling you names?  dont think so..  just report the number to FBI for communication / internet scams.

Your scam call came from Jamaica the country, not the borough of NYC. As with these scam calls, they use names from a movie, cartoon, or tv show. No reason to take calls from Jamaica.

Got a call from this number. The person claimed to be a Mr Stephen Douglas informing me that I have won 2.5 million dollars in the mega-millions lotto, and that I needed to call him back to make arraingements. The individual did not speak very good english and had very poor enunciation.

just received a call from this number.  Didn't answer it.  15 minutes before I got a call from 876-505-1869.  Wanted to know if I had received a call from Reader's Digest.  Hung up!
