Well I received this call from this number and this man started of by saying something about the Clearing House and I responded not to be calling my number and before I could hang up he started calling me a few choice words. I just finished hanging up  :)

For the umpteenth time we have gotten calls for someone who has never had this phone number...at least no for the last 25 years.  The accent is Jamacian, and the stories are different each time from Publishers clearing house to who knows what.
The numbers vary, but the accent remains the same.  Today's number was 876-546-1785 and the Caller ID said it was from
Shared Exchange JM.  I didn't listen to the rest of the "story" after I told him he had the wrong number, as he was still talking as always happens.

today I RECIEVED A CALL FROM SHARED EXCHANGE  JM 876-771-6298 STATING THEY ARE CALLING FOR PUBLISHER CLEARING HOUSE. THIS IS A JAMAICA AREA CODE SO IMMEDIATELY I KNEW IT WAS A SCAM. I TOLD THE MAN HE WAS A SCAMMER AND A CROOK AND THAT HE IS NOT TO CALL THIS # AGAIN. HE HUNG UP

Phone number 876-539-7009.  SCAM!

Put a stop to this call.

I been getting  these over the last several years, I use call blocker. you  save the the PH# and then you can use call Blocker. I repost them to FTC. end of  story. Oh I play a long to get name, PH#, just so I call block them

Call blocker is what i do. you  save the PH #  and give it any name, than save it than you can use your call blocker. They get a automatic decline. I have called the FTC and repost a number of times

Calls house daily even after we informed them we are registered with the do not call list and asked them to quit calling.  

They are pitching a lottery win and that they need you to purchase a prepaid credit card from them so they can apply your lottery winnings to it.  Obvious scam.

They called saying we won.a car and money my husband believed them and send them 150 on a green dot money card my husband is very trusting we lost that money.

They just called me said I won 2million n a car want me tp send them 150.00 I hung up n they called back 3 times.do they really think people r that.stupid is there someone that we can report them 2

The man called and said his name is Dave Sawyer from PCH and was goona give me the BIG prize, all I had to do was go and get a CVS $500 scratch card.  He had an accent and had called once before, but when I said I didn't have the money  he finally hung up withoout saying goodbye, drop dead or anything.

He called me once before and someone else called and said I had won $1000 worth of grocery coupons.   What do these people get out of this

Yes, report them to the FTC, who are cooperating with Jamaican authorities to get these scammers.

What can we do.???.

I have received TWO calls from a Clive Marshall, with Publishers Clearing House.  He said he is the General Manager.  The first time he called, I had to allow delivery of my prize during bank business hours so that we could go to the bank together.  I questioned that and he hung up.
The second time happened about a week apart.  He called again and questioned why I was forfeiting a prize this large.  He said I won $5M cashier check, $950K in cash, and a silver mercedez benz., But, I had to to CVS and purchase two $500.00 dollar money scratch cards,  I questioned the need for purchasing the scratch cards and he got angry.  I also asked for a supervisor and he hung up on me again.
Something needs to be done about these folks.

This guy says his name is Clive Marshall, with Publishers Clearing House, and he is the prize patrol manager, and I won 2 milion dollars, and they would deliver the cashiers check to my door, of the catch? go to CVS and purchase two $500.00 dollar money scratch cards, I went along with it for laugh, so he calls back 3 times,m wanting to know where I am so, I call him out, and that is where he got very angry and threatning!! The phone number could not be blocked on my phone, these people need to be stopped, before he hurts someone who actually falls for It.He messed with the wrong person, But, I hope noone else falls for It.
