Same old PCH scam that has been around for a few years now.

Just got a call from this dude. He wanted to know what I was wearing. Said he had some hoes up at the Marriot and I could come hang out......WTF!?

Some guy try to do the whole Publishing Clearinghouse and call me long distance crap, wants me to call 876 374 0639 ext 5 and ask for Albert Johnson about some shady crap. I think this is a phone scam where if you call you get bill like a zillion dollars a min.

These guys are kinda funny. I didnt bite, but I enjoyed keeping them on the phone for a bit. I have never in my life even entered an Publishers Clearing house sweepstakes, but I do remember as a kid always wanting to lick the stamp sheets they sent in the envelopes to my parents. Mr. David Moore really needs to work on his english speaking skills a bit, and they gave me the number to call an "Agent Malone" at 876-545-7657 and had me repeat it three times. Guess he really thought I would call it!  I have the day off school today, so I am hoping he calls again to break up the monotony of housework!

DO NOT return the call from someone calling from a 876 area code.
This is not a toll free "800" number, it is the international long distance code for the island nation of Jamaica. You are charged international and long distance rates for calling this number. Other international/long distance area codes are 809, 284, and 649.

They never require any money, purchases, taxes, fees, or deposits of any kind to get your prize.

Publishers Clearing House DOES NOT call, email, FAX, mail, any advanced notice that you have won.

"If you are ever contacted by someone claiming to represent PCH, or claiming to be one of our employees,  and asked to send or wire money (for any reason whatsoever, including taxes); or send a pre-paid gift card or Green Dot Moneypak card in order to claim a sweepstakes prize ? DON?T!  It?s a SCAM. Just got a call from a guy named micheal manly who stated I needed to call his manager John Black at 8763740639 ext. 5 because I had not received my proper notification that I had won the publishers clearing house 3rd place. Of course I did not contact John Black, but wanted to share that this guy knew my name and address, so please all be careful.

Somebody called me this morning from,this number and told me that he was a killer and he was going to kill me in front of my mom.

Rec'd a call from this number.  Asking me if I remembered signing up for the Publisher's Clearing House.  Gave the name David Morris, my UPS driver.  I hung up on the caller but not sure how he got my cell number.

I just got a call from 876-374-0639. A man, David Moore, who claimed to be a UPS driver from Publisher's Clearing House asked me if I recalled signing up years ago. After saying no, he hung up. I don't know what kind of scam he was trying to run, but he could barely speak correctly.

I was called from 876-374-0639 (Jamaica) and informed that I had won in the PCH drawings. Wanted to know when I would be home for the driver to deliver the check. I was told to call 876--840-0270 and ask for Mr. Oliver John at extn. 5 to arrange delivery of the check.

called my cell and told me he was ups driver for PCH. Had I entered a contest. I said yes, after i repeatedly asked him to speak slow and clear. the accent was terrible. said i had won $965,000 and a Mercedes, and was in Arkansas on route to my home. He asked for address and did I have a bank acct. He wanted me to call another # and ask for agent Malone. I asked how he got my cell phone #, and he answered, Computer.I told him i thought he was running a big scam after he said  I would need to pay 1% taxes today of my winnings. He told me to go and f.... my mother. This happened yesterday.

I just received a call from 876-374-0639. The guy told me I won a new car and some money from the publishers clearing house. It was hard to undestand what he was actually saying.  He told me to call 876-545-7657. Ex 5. He kept asking me to repeat the number back to him to make sure i got it. I told him that i have the number and he said could u just repeat the number. This did not at all sound like the publisher clearing house. He told me to ask to speak to Albert Johnson. He asked me if i would be at home to receive my prize. I just hung up the phone. If u receive a call from this number. IT IS A PRANK.

I just got a call saying I had won a new car and a million dollars from Publisher's Clearing House. He said his name was David Moore, a UPS Driver with Publisher's Clearing House. I had him repeat that about 3 times. :) He wanted to know if I would be at home to receive my prize. My caller ID said 876-374-0639. I told him I live in a small town next to a little larger city and I retired from UPS and know all the drivers. There ain't nobody named David Moore. He told me I didn't know sh_t and hung up.

I got a call from the same number and same name, 876-374-0639, David Moore. He said he was the UPS Driver with Publisher's Clearing House. I live in a small area and informed him I retired from UPS, and there is no David Moore that works there. He said I don't know nothing and hung up.

UPS driver with a Jamaican accent calls me and says they are delivering a check and a new car to my house and if I'd be home to receive it.Told him i hadn't played sweepstakes in years and he said one of those were ells me to call 876-374-6737ext. 5.  I tell him i will and hang up. I know it's a scam and don't call, but he calls me back 5 mins later asking if i called yet. I told him i would later and he told me to call now. I wonder why?

Just received a call on my cell from this number, could only understand something about winning a car and i said no ididnt and do not call my private number again, he hung up.

I just got this phone call. He told me he was a UPS carrier and wanted to deliver a check and new car to my home because I had won something from Publisher's Clearing House. I told him I never entered a sweepstakes and he needs to lose my number! He tried calling back two more times and I declined the calls. Scam!

Got a call on my cell number from some guy with a thick accent. Very hard to understand but he said there was a car and check going to be delivered to my house tonight . Said I was Publisher's Clearing House winner. When I asked him whose name was on the check, he immediately hung up. Definite SCAM.

Received a call from 876-374-0639 claiming that I won $250,000 from the Publishing Clearinghouse and wanted to know if I would be at home to accept a certified check and that I needed to call 876-401-6737 to verify how I wanted to receive it. Used name David Moore and when I asked him what company he was with he hung up. If you look the area code up is from Jamaica. I also called the other person on my plan and they said they had received a call from the same area code and when he answered they hung up. Our phone numbers are only digit apart so they may have some type of list they are using.

I also could not understand this idiot. Tried to keep him on the phone for as long as I could since he had called me. That's when he said that he was F...ing my wife. To which I replied, "My wife is dead. Do you understand the term Necrophilia? That what you call it when you have sex with the dead. He then hung up.

The number he told me to call was 876-xxx-7362, ext 5 (I could not understand the middle 3 digits that he said).

Someone from this number called me telling me they were from the "Publisher's Clearing House." He told me I won $255,000 and needed to deliver a certified check to me and asked me if I was going to be at my home. He then proceeded to tell me to write down a number and to call it to talk to an agent (I could not understand the name of the person he told me). When I asked him what this was for again, he asked me if I remembered signing up for the Publisher's Clearing House. I then asked him who he was trying to get ahold of and he hung up.

DO NOT answer if you receive a call from this number. It is a scam to get you to call a number overseas so they can get your money. If you have won money from PCH, you wouldn't have to call a different number.
