A man with a accent, and a poor connection, said he was "John Smith" from FedEx. He told me he had a package that was to be delivered to me. And that he was calling to verify the address (which I never told him). I told him to deliver it.
I already had seen the caller ID and figured this to be a scam since I don't believe that FedEx would be calling from Jamaica.
He said he would an that he just needed to verify a few things. He then asked if someone would be home, and if I was an American citizen. I asked what did it matter if I was or was not an American citizen? He replied that the package had a lot of money in it and it was from some sort of Lottery. (If he was really from FedEx, how would he know the contents of the package exactly?) He slurred the name of the lottery, I have no clue what it was supposed to be. I told him I don't care what he has to say as he is just a scammer, and do not call this number ever again.
