Yea, the Jamaican scammers are getting really active again.  If you really want to get them angry and can handle the profane and abusive language you can try saying the following Jamaican slang when you get an 876 area code call.

Hey neegle yeye (pronounced yai). Why yu nuh easy, mon?  Do I need obeahmon put curse pon yu for callin me?

neegle yeye is "needle eye" which is slang for female genitalia.  yu nuh easy is saying he is rude and nasty with a very derogatory intent and obeahmon is a Voodoo shaman.  You can google Jamaican slang for more fun things to say to these losers.

I have gotten calls for months from these people; just got a message with yet another number; 1-876-448-7439.  I googled it and it is from Jamaica.  Mossel (Jamaica) Ltd is the mobile phone service provider.  I, too, have tried telling them to stop calling and they still do.  When I confronted a guy yesterday, saying I had already listened to the spiel and know it is a scam, he got very abusive, so I hung up.  He actually called right back and left a very obscene message on my phone.  I don't understand why they keep calling when they know I am not sending them anything and really detest these idiots.  Be careful out there...

Missed the call this morning so I called it back.  Thick Indian-accented man answered telling me I won second place prize.  Asked if I would be home to receive it this afternoon.  I asked what it was and from who.  He said, its a Chevy Tahoe from publisher's clearing house.  He then again asked if I wanted it, I knew it was a scam so I politely declined.  This bi-ploar idiot then yelled, "Go f*** yourself." And hung up.

I think the same creep who called you, called me. I have a cellphone number from the same geographic area as you. On Friday November 25thI saw a spot on the NBC Today Show  about the latest scam--someone claiming to be from UPS and asking for your bank account information.  A few minutes later, my cellphone rang--showing 876-398-4977.  It was a guy with what sounded like an Indian accent claiming to be from UPS, asking if I would be home for delivery of a certified package at 1pm.  I told him I wasn't sure.  (I live in a remote area and UPS has never delivered to my home.) He went on to say that it was a certified package and I needed to be home to accept it.  I repeated that I wasn't sure.  He said it was a 2011 Chevrolet car. I laughed and asked him, "So now you want my bank account info, right?"  He said (apologies for the verbatim) "Dirty Mother C***sucker" and hung up.  Stupidly I called the number back and got a voicemailbox.  I left a message that he had a foul mouth.

I got the same call from a guy. He called but did not leave a message. As this is a work phone and I do receive calls from different area I returned the call as a courtesy. He said that I had won a car and money from Publishers clearing House and would be delivering it tomorrow and I needed to be home at noon. Then he asked my name. I said no if you are delivering it you tell me my name. He hung up.

This guy is the exact same guy that everyone explains. He called us @ 7am, and tried to sell us something. When I called him back, he answered "Hello" in the same voice he tried to scam us in. He then  became very vulgar and inappropriate with me about my wife. SOMETHING MUST be done about this clown. He's obviously an idiot. He must think Americans are idiots if we're to fall for his stupidity. Any ideas?

Do not send any money to these creatures. They are blood sucking leeches that are only interested in parting you from your hard earned cash.  I also received a call from them and when I refused to cooperate  they became rude and insulting.  This is a SCAM!!!   Report them to the authority.

Prank Call
I recieved a call from this number as well. The gentleman, with a thick accent, at frist said his name was John Brown and then changed later, saying his name was Michael, the manager. He started his pitch by saying i had a ups package waiting for me, but would have to at my residence to recieive it. He said I was randomly selected to win $550,000.00 and a brand new car through Publisher's Clearence House. He said all i had to do was go to western union and pay the taxes on the money ($499.99). Once i recieved the receipt from western union a check would be hand delivered to my residence. He also prompted me to call back several other numbers in order to confirm my winnings. Those numbers were, 1-876-588-1946 and 1-876-377-1260. Then, this person hung up on me when he found out i thought it was a scam and then called me back several times hours later (then from a blocked number), at which point i told him i was not interested and then he began making sexual comments. It was at this point that i was knew it was a scam and hung up on him. I called my cell phone provider and blocked these numbers, but they said that i would have to pay for the international long distance calls that i made when he prompted me to call them back to confirm. I knew it didn't sound right, but called it back anyway. My phone provider told me to google these types of numbers before calling them.
