I received a call from this number saying that my number had been randomly selected and that I had won money and a Mercedes from Publishers Clearing house.  I was told the headquarters were set up in Jackson, TN.  I assumed it was a scam and hung up when he asked me to get a pencil and paper to take down information.

It's a scam. The live caller told me that I'd won a Publishers Clearinghouse Sweepstakes prize. I asked him to tell me my name, which he didn't know. (Why would he? He's a scammer in a boilerplate operation.) I've never entered any PCH sweepstakes, which was the most telling indicator of this new scam.

It is a scammer!!!
