Caller claimed to be from Publisher's Clearing House. Apparently, I won 6 million and a Mercedes Benz. To claim, I need to go to a local Walgreen's and purchase a green dot card for $550. He asked me if I wanted to donate the money to the U.S. Army.The call is a total scam. PCH will NOT ask you for money to win the sweepstakes. The phone number is 876-424-6546. I played along and told him that I would give him the card for $550 when HE gave me the car filled with the 6 million in small bills. We could do an exchange and I could invite the newspapers to witness the whole event. Of course the next thing I heard was a dead line. LOL!!
 

I just received a call at my job from a man with an accent who said I had won $860,000.00 and a new 2013 VW in the PCH sweepstakes.  He asked me several times if I could be home on Thursday (tomorrow) so they could deliver the prize.  He then changed his story and insisted it would be today.  He kept insisting that I have to go home.  He repeatedly badgered me about going home to receive my prize.  I asked why couldn't they deliver to my work, which is where he called me, but he insisted that I have to go home.  Since I wasn't willing to plan along, he hung up on me.  Of course I had his number from my caller id and I immediately called it back and the same man answered with a "hello"?  I could hear young children playing in the background.  People like this need to get a real job and stop harassing hard working people like me.  Total scam.  The number is 1-876-424-6546.

I got the call today from an unknown # claiming I had won $5mil in the PCH and to call 876-424-6546.  I called and was told to go to a Dollar General and pick up a ticket or something.  I said I would call them back but didn't after googling the number and finding all this helpful info.  PCH delivers the prize to your home or office and not the Dollar General store :)  The number is a Jamaican cell number.

Just got a call with the same MO...a Jamica, prefix..8763896273....same story big winnings.. PCHTV.COM...also, win a Mercedes car....the call was from Micheal..also  a Sacramento ph # 7072256383....I hung up on him....

Got a call at 7:30 a.m. from a guy claiming to be from Publishers Clearing House. I knew that no company worth its salt would call so early, so I cut the call off quickly.

Received a call today from 876-398-5290. He told me his name was Jeffery Douglas and claimed that I won 1.5 million dollars and a Mercedes Benz. He goes on to give me all of these claiming numbers and check numbers and another phone number to verify claiming my prize. 1-876-424-4138. Then he HE asks me MY Name. If I won, shouldn't you already have that information.

I got a phone call from 876-424-4138 today, said I was a Publisher Clearning House winner of 1.5 million dollars, and the Mercedes Benz.  He asked how I was feeling, and I said, "Skeptical."  He then said, "Okay, thank you" and hung up.
It's safe to say I'm not surprised.

I noticed this missed call from my cell. I called the number back and told the caller that someone called me from said number. A man with an accent answered as if i had just called his home phone. Caller immediately hung up on me???????????? Odd

Got a call from 876-424-4138 today, did not answer - UGH!

It's a SCAM out of Jamaica.  No legal contest requires you to pay money first in order to claim your prize.  Don't answer these scam calls from the 876 area code!

I was told the same thing also but this person claims I have to come up w/ 30O to 700 dollars and go to a Western Union for some ticket. Then the Bank of Americe, who is holding the 1.5 million dollars, will send it. After they get my money. Also a black 2012 Mercedes Benz will be delievered today from CA. They started calling yesterday and got me out of bed at 6:30 am. For a total of 7 calls now claiming to be from Publishers Clearing House.
