This number appeared below the main number of 303-731-1833 (which is a Denver area number)

They are a political survey number...for the Democrats...they want to know all about what Republican candidate you will vote for in your area..and tell you things about each candidate and whether you would still vote for them...  Among some of the things they say about each and every candidate were some malicious gossipy items that were untrue in some instances and asked if you would still consider the candidate, IF you knew this about a candidate...:)   They want to know if you watch Fox News...another dead giveaway, it is a Democrat Survey....

I received a message on my cell phone from this number.  The message size is 1 kb and did not download.  How can I keep this from happening again?

Called using a fake number ((484)842-0081) with caller ID showing the real number.  I said hello and they started and didn't stop talking. I said no thank you and hung up. They asked "if i was a registered..." then i hung up. They didn't say their company name.

Let me give ya'll some advice......don't answer the phone.....turn off your answering machine.  When these POS call you & get no answer after a couple of calls, they assume it's not a good number.......when you answer or your machine does, you are telling them they have connected with a good number.......so use some common sense......and don't play into their hands.

Called me last night, around nine.  I picked up because it looked local-ish, only to realize, too late, that the call was really out of Utah and the local number was spoofed (Caller ID gave 928 415 0335 and also had 8012149297 -- no spaces). Personable man introduced himself as Corey (he also mentioned his company but I don't recall it now) and said he had "some questions" to ask me. I told him sure and I charge $xx an hour for my time. He hardly missed a beat, telling me that he had no idea who I was and had no way to get the money to me. As I hung up, I heard him asking if I was a registered voter. That's nobody's business but my own.

The just called said they were from CBS and something else polling.  Asked to speak with the person who had the most recent birthday and was over 18.  I said that would be me.  He asked my age then said thank you and hung up.   Very odd.

Same thing with spoofed number, their number on top and my area code ans some fake number following....now they are on my call blocker list.

Azzwipes called at 9:30 PM last night.. C'mon man!!!

Received a call at 8:45pm on a Sun evening from caller name 801-214-9297, caller number 646-755-7201.  Didn't answer call because anytime two numbers are shown on caller ID, one of the numbers is a "spoof".  I've blocked the 801-214-9297 number but to no avail since they simply call again with a different spoof number generally a local number, and the call gets thru.  I just don't answer.

yes they called and tried to show the same area code as us, but our caller ID shwed their original area code and number also.  I didn't answer.

Caller ID is 8012149297 and the phone number says 399-4210 which would be a local number. So these guys are basically letting you know it doesn't matter if you block their number,...they'll call you from a different made up number. I hope bankruptcy and jail time is in their future. I also can't help but think these guys have cut a deal with Digitone 10 to drum up business. When someone drives around shooting out windows with a BB gun,...your first suspect should be the guy selling windows.

I'll leave the call type as unknown because I/we won't answer their calls because they're either selling something we don't want or scamming.

Got a call today around 6:10 pm. Didn't leave a message but was also using 843-628-2679.

The caller, 801-214-9297, a lady called us @11:05, 02/23/2012 for some kind of survey.. My wife  answered, she told her do not call again.

Called this evening, spoofing a local cell phone number.  No message.

totally annoying- call late in the evening..  paired with another more local number. hang ups.

I have been receiving calls from that number (the actual phone number shows a local number) for 2 weeks, always around 7:30 or 8pm and no one answers when I say hello.  Very inconsiderate.

Caller ID shows 801-214-9297 but the number displayed is 978-965-2090.  Turns out to be some survey.  The woman asked me if I was over 18 years of age an I responded "No.  I'm seven and a half.  I have thyroid issues."

Calling to take a survey.. which is usually the loophole for a sales pitch and bypasses the DNC thing.

I always tell them that as a paid consultant, I would need their credit card first and a two hour minimum ($350) in advance.

Called me twice in two days, today was at 7:39 PM and yesterday was at 8:30 PM. Never leaves a voicemail, and the caller ID says "360-339-5269" with the "801-214-9297" number right above it......from all the other posts I've been reading, seems like the "360" is a spoof number that they use. 360 is my local area code.....

Just put both numbers on my block list with Comcast just to make sure, and my block list is up to 10 numbers now when the total limit I can block is 12. Hopefully these type of numbers quit calling me! I just got this number and I'm thinking about changing my number. Seriously.

They did call me,last time 9/12/2012 at 8,10 pm. I did call back the #, It is a politikal organizatiom,want to make survey.Politikal research organization.

Recieved a call from this number tonight.  Political call wanting information on how I was voting.  Had many questions, so if you answer, be prepared.

Keeps calling with a local number and this number above it.  The 2 numbers have no name.

Called my house after the "legal time" they can call in Louisiana (before 8 pm) & I was SLEEPING! I called their number, told them I'm a minister (I am) & I was awakened by a spoof call for my political opinion. I told him, due to my religious beliefs..I will not discuss/participate. Please do not call again or it will be very rude/ugly!
