You can block an entire area code with Mr Number on all Android devices

I am now getting calls from a couple of different numbers that now have an actual name attached to the caller ID.  I guess they think we are more apt to pick up if there is a name on the ID.  WRONG!  I'd get on my call block, but it is filled up.  Will have to delete some older ones and put this one on.  I think it is time for the Digitone Call Blocker!!!  BTW, name on mine was Jim Kingston.

Scam scam...

I received a call today from a  Jeffrey Anderson who stated that he was with Publishers Clearinghouse. He claimed that I won the 2nd place prize that included a 2012 Chrysler 300 and cash at a value of $1.7 million dollars. He gave me great details on the prize, a reference number and a confirmation number. He went on to ask was I married and how many years, whether or not I was a US citizen, and if I had a driver?s license. I told him yes and he hung up.I called the number back which was a # out of Jamaica and it went straight to voicemail. While the voicemail was going, he called me back and asked what was I wanting to do with an attitude! He kept assuring me that it was not a scam and I was a winner. I said ok and he proceeded to ask questions. He asked what was my address. I said that if I won, he should already have my address. He then hung up again. I called him back but again voicemail picked  up on the first ring.

876 is the local telephone area code of Jamaica. If you do not know anyone in Jamaica it's a scam.

Unfortunately, these scammers are very persistent and in some cases verbally abusive, threatening to harm victims if they do not send money.?

bad english...guy said "Hello" and I immediately asked "Who is this"...idiot said "This is William from Publishers Clearing House".  I then immediately said "Hey, take it and shove it".  I HATE SCAMMERS...nothing but a bunch of low-life idiots who won't take the time to try to get a real job and instead would rather work harder at trying to rip someone off rather than finding a job and actually trying to contribute to society.

1.7 mill and chrysler 300!!!  Awesome I won!  Ridiculous  the thought was nice at least
