Received multiple calls each time from a different number (listed below) informing us that we won $2.5 million in a sweepstakes that they had a check ready to issue to us but it was being held for one reason or another.  They claim there is a tax, service fee or law requiring a minor payment to be made for them to release the check.  They will trade checks but theres is bogus so by the time you deposit it and then its rejected by the bank your has been cashed and are out of money.  They often try to distract you by asking questions that will get you thinking about the money, do you own your house? Can we announce your winnings to the press sometimes they even say you won a car so they ask what color you want.
