? Microsoft or one of their agents did NOT cold call you to fix your computer.
? The moon is not made of green cheese.
? The IRS will snailmail you, rather than phone you, if there is a problem.
? Jackalope milk is not an aphrodisiac.
? If you "green dot" or Western Union money to a scammer, the money is gone.
? You should beware of Greeks bearing gifts, specially if the gift is a wooden horse.

I received a phone call stating i had won 250,000 but i needed to buy 199.00 green dot card. The number that called me was 8762949240.

Today it is Mr. John Baker calling and I was supposed to call 8764884258 to speak with Mr. Jackson.  Called my cell and knew my name.

You probably cost your company a few $$ in overseas phone call charges for calling Jamaica.  If they audit the phone bill they will want to know why you called Jamaica on your company phone and probably want you to pay for the call assuming they don't also fire you for misuse of your company phone.

I did call Betty Morgan from my job phone. Hope they don't get a high phone bill. Listened to the entire scam. Knew it was really a scam when she said I needed a Green Dot Money Pack Paper Scratch Card that cost $390.00 and that the driver, Mr John Jefferson, who was delivering my $950,000 check and new 2013 Chevy Malibu, along with Ms Nancy Parker would reinburst me. Scams are getting better everyday but the key is if you have to pay for it, it's not legit. Mr Jefferson said he was in Jacksonville and would arrive at my home in 2 hours. Ms Morgan said he was in New Bern and could not go any further because the IRS had to make sure that I had the Green Dot Card first. I didn't know that the IRS worked on weekends.

Just been got by Betty Morgan from the publisher clearing house by getting a green dot card

The driver for the Publisher's Clearing House sweepstakes called my cell phone saying I had won a car and cash.  He could not answer how I was entered into this sweepstakes, but asked me to phone Betty Morgan at 1-876-488-4258 to arrange for delivery.  SCAM...I didn't follow through.

DO NOT return the call from someone calling from a 876 area code.
This is not a toll free "800" number, it is the international long distance code for the island nation of Jamaica. You are charged international and long distance rates for calling this number. Other international/long distance area codes are 809, 284, and 649.

Publishers Clearing House DOES NOT call, email, FAX, mail, any advanced notice that you have won.

Caller said he was Peter Kennedy and it was pertaining to a delivery and to call his supervisor by the name of Betty Watkins of course I'm not calling.

Scam Scam Scam.And Did I Say Scam!!

Just got a call from a Kingston, Jamaica number he said he was in Rocky Mount and that I had won $950,000 as well as a 2012 Kia Forte.  His name was John Austin and he said he was leaving Rocky Mount in 30 minutes. so I should call the number quickly and ask for Brenda Smith.  this is clearly a scam I asked him how did I qualify if I didn't even sign up and what was my name, he got frustrated and said just call the number!

Just received a call from  a blocked number saying he was from Publishers Clearing house and that I won $250,000.  I needed to write down the name of the person's supervisor, James Cooper, and call him at 876-488-4258.  Obviously this is a scam going around, and I have not called this number.

I just received a phone call saying they were from Publishers Clearing house,
They told me I won $250,00.00 and a Mercedes Benz.
They gave me an account number of 432814415 and a routing number of 910252618 this is what my check would say on it. Then they ask you to call this man called
James Cooper at 876-488-4258. He tells you to go to a walmart and purchase a $400.00 green dot pack card, then they will put them $250,00.00 on it.
Beware of this!!! It's a fraud!!!! I told them no thanks!!!!!
