I got another call from these losers today.  I do not know what this bozo said his name was today, but instead of me talking to him, I let him "talk" to the Judge Judy soundboard.  The guy started asking me why I was acting like this.  It was downright hilarious.  He finally got so frustrated that he hung up on me. :-D

Hello TheToxicAvenger.  I am not surprised that over 30,000 calls are placed daily from Jamaica for the sole purpose of trying to scam people out of their hard earned money.  I totally believe that.  Those losers are calling anyone and everyone trying to swindle/extort money.  My grandmother was the one receiving this call on a daily basis.  She got a call from that "John Baker" guy and he was somehow able to get access to her social security number and not only activate her online banking feature on her personal bank accounts, but he tried to withdraw money from her account twice, which the bank caught and was able stop and they notified us immediately.  The last few times these people called and talked to me (They thought they were talking to my grandmother), they told me to do the same thing: get a Green Dot money pack at Walmart or CVS, and put a certain amount of money on it.  I am going to see if I can record the call next time and post the information on the forums here.  Good suggestion.  I am so tired of these roaches calling.  The good thing is that the number these people are calling will be deactivated very soon.

Violet,  you might be surprised to learn that over 30,000 calls are placed DAILY from Jamaica to the United States for the purpose of trying to swindle/extort money. In most cases, these foul smelling creatures have only your phone number and will try to extract additional information from you using the ruse of trying to verify your correct name/address so they can deliver the prize package.

I was first contacted by these filthy, little animals, when I received a call from something calling itself "John Baker" (today it was "James Washington".) In any event, this "John" was calling to tell me I had won 2.5 million dollars from "Mega Millions" in Las Vegas. It instructed me to get a Green Dot Money card from CVS, load it with $499.25 to pay for my "registration fees." A few days after this call, I was shocked to see this particular scam featured on ABC World News. During that segment, they played the audio of a conversation between an elderly woman - who had already sent them $85,000 - and one of these black stained rodents.

When these roaches call again - which they will - please record the call and share that information here in this forum. Please include your area code - JUST your area code - along with your posting name. Thanks.

Telemarketer
I received a call from this number on August 29th at 3:54 PM.  The man on the other end claimed he was from Mega Millions and that I had won $2.5 million in the Mega Millions lottery and he asked for my address and when a good time would be to "deliver my prize".  He kept pressing for information, but I did not give it to him.  He finally got so frustrated that he hung up.
