Just received a call from this number stating I had won a pch sweepstakes. Guy was using a terribly fake accent and drawing out his speech to make the call longer.. I'd say don't answer this call due to the possibility of extremely high long distance charges. People are a***s

Caller sounded like they were talking threw a machine to alter their voices
And said he was calling on behalf of the Publishers Clearing House. What a crock of s***!!!

I just got the same call.

he said he worked for ups and that I won $900.000.00 and car I told him I was driving and could not talk

My wife received a cell phone call from a James Cooper stating that he was the driver of the delivery truck of the black Mercedes and to call his manager, William Jackson, within 5 minutes at 876-841-0659, ext 3 to verify the call and to arrange for the delivery of the black Mercedes and a certified check for $950,000.  He said he was from a Publishers Clearing House contest that she had entered.  She said that she didn't enter the contest, but he did not acknowledge that and said to call his manager.  She did not feel comfortable calling so I called.  The person that answered, William Jackson, indentified himself as being from PCH and that I had won.  He went through a whole pitch that asked me how I felt about winning and what color Mercedes would I like (black, red or pearl white).  He then went on to explain that they would meet me at my local Walgreens or Walmart.  When there, I was to purchase an id card (not sure what that was about), and that I should have $495 cash to cover various fees.  It was at that point I hung up.  Very clever scam

Received call from 876-841-0659 on my cell phone.  He said he was Mr. John Baker calling on behalf of Publishers Clearing House.  I hung up on him.

When I received a call from my cell company informing me there was a 14 min long call to Jamaica costing $27 on my bill, I WAS LIVID! Went on-line, did the Google/ reverse look-up, and this page is the 1st one I found!  Evidently they kept my Husband chatting for quite a while or held the line open for some reason??  The number was incoming, then a couple of minutes later, OUTGOING, so he must have called it back! DUH!?

Just received a call from the same number (876) -280-9413 saying that I had "won" a prize from filling a form out at Wal-mart back in May, 2011.    (I didn't).    He then sites me shopping at Macy's, Penny's, Rite-Aid, K-Mart, etc. but he said I had won 3rd prize of $50,000.    Would I be home tomorrow for delivery?    (They would even meet me in the church parking lot or at the police station).    After the $50,000 clears my bank then I owe them $99.00 for delivery.    I heard a rooster crowing and asked where he was (answer was Michigan in his office).    When I mentioned the rooster, he hung up on me.  Jan 12, 2012

Received a call, on 11/7/11, from a Mr. Morris stating they were on their way to deliver a certified check to me.  I told him I had not entered any contests and he stated that when you buy at Wal-Mart, Sears, K-Mart etc. you are entered into these contests.  Told him I was not interested and he gave  me this phone number to verify with Mr. Benjamin of the Claims Dept. that this was a legit thing.  Of course I did not call.

Got a call saying that I had won $12.5 million plus a new Mercedes it was an obvious scam, but here's the best part the guy was trying to get information, but I could also hear a Chicken in the background, when I questioned him about the noise he said that it was his alarm system, just thought this was pretty funny.
