No They Are Not But All On Here Are!!!

All calls from 876 are not fraud, that's the code for Jamaica.  Not saying that your call was not fraud, though.

yet another that keeps calling me wanting money. they say they have 4.1 mill for meI fell for the scam. but no more.

these people are a scam and keep calling me. how do I stop them.

I will not send them the money. Now he says he is going to kill me.

SO I BEGIN A SEARCH LOOKING FOR A HOUSE TO RENT THEN I FIND THIS HOUSE ONLINE THAT SOUNDED TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE. AFTER SENDING AN EMAIL THE GUY SAYS HES MOVING TO MALAYSIA AND NEEDS TO RENT THE HOUSE ASAP. HE ALSO SAYS THAT I WOULD HAVE TO SEND THE FIRST MONTHS RENT PLUS THE DEPOSIT WHICH CAME OUT TO 1400.00 I ASK TO SPEAK TO THE PERSONA AND HE SENDS ME A NUMBER ONLY TO FIND OUT THAT IN THE VOICEMAIL HE GIVES THE 876 NUMBER. I CALL IT ONCE AND I HEAR ALOT OF NOISE THAT OBVIOUSLY SOUNDED LIKE A THIRD WORLD COUNTRY HE KEPT SAYING HELLO AND WHEN I ASKED ABOUT THE HOUSE HE HUNG UP ON ME. WHEN I TRIED TO CALL BACK THE NUMBER SUDDENLY JUST DIDNT WORK ANYMORE. SO YEA THIS IS A SCAM AND ALL YOU B*****DS WHO ARE POOR IN YOUR COUNTRY QUIT TRYING TO TAKE OUR MONEY GET A LIFE A JOB AND A BETTER HABBIT

This number keep calling me!

Here I am a single mom of five looking for a new house to rent I went on craigslist saw an ad emailed the person they emailed me back gave me a diffrent number I called and they told me they had a new number then told me to call this 8768502047 number I left a message and he called me back and said I can move in asap but I had to go to walmart and get a green dot and send him the money now he keeps calling me

I  DON'T  KNOW  THIS  STUPID  NUMBER  8768502047  DISTURBING  ME,  PLEASE  DISABLE  THAT  NUMBER  FOR  HIM  NOT  TO  REACH  ME  AGAIN.

Your caller is a criminal. Don't let him get to you. Buy/borrow a tape recorder and tell him the call is being recorded. Use a whistle, air horn or smoke alarm to blow his ears off. Report it to the Internet Crime Complaint Center http://www.ic3.gov/complaint/default.aspx

Brutal Angie, just brutal.

Yes, many people have mentioned the same story you provide.  Rest assured you will be ok and not in physical danger.  These scammers do not have the financial resources to hop on a plane and come visit you.  Yet, as you experienced they will get progressively agitated and aggressive to scare you into sending money.
I hope for your sake, you have call display.  Unfortunately it's a necessary cost to owning a phone these days.  
(1) Don't pick up the phone from an unknown number.  Simple as that.  If it's somebody that knows you, they will speak into the answering machine.
(2)Invest in a Panasonic or Uniden phone with a Call Block funtion.  The phone won't ring and will be diverted to voicemail.  Saves you the hassle of looking at your phone when this number calls.

The man keeps calling and now just called me a f****r and said that if I don't want him to call that he'll stop but he still keeps calling

A e-mail came to me informing me of an inheritance and the man keeps trying to get me to send a money gram. I asked him why they are in Jamaica and not Texas and he said that bank merchants in the U.S. are very busy.  He became angry with me and said I made him look stupid in front of his wife. I hung up and he called back and apologized because he almost died a few days ago. I said he wasn't professional and if his story was true, and he was really an agent, he would be on leave from work.  Reading on this sight, I'll assume that all phone numbers starting with 876 are fraud.  Please be careful and really watch out for your family, especially the elders in your family.
