This i agree with. many Jamaican's have family in the US. I do. So once the calls are not personal or between already established business contacts. Then they are definitely scam. Your first statement was VERY GENERAL, this one is better.

ALL  " 876"  CALLS  to  north  america     ,  other than  those  of  a  "  personal"  nature  to  family  and  friends  etc............

All of Jamaica's phone numbers start with 876 so not all callers will be scammers. HOWEVER, WE DO NOT have any loans company here that processes overseas loans!!!. So if you are called about a loan, just hangup. Also, DO NOT, and i repeat, DO NOT send any money to ANYONE (not even in your own country) to secure a loan. That is not how loan fees work.

I am just so pissed off at this whole thing, i am pissed of at the scammers spoiling our country's profile and i am pissed off at people who do not use their brains and resources. About 6 years ago, my husband and i received an email from a supposed lawyer in Nigeria who wanted us to accept alot of money that was left by a dead client, then we would share it. He sent us all his credentials which looked real enough and we listened to every section of the plan. But once he asked us to send money, we told him to take the fees out of the money that we were to get. He went on and on about us sending money for clearance fees and blah blah blah, so of course we stopped corresponding with him because we dont have money to waste.

Chances are there is no such company. Jamaica has started to force consumers to provide identification when they purchase cell phone sim cards, so that is your best bet. You will have a better chance tracking the numbers than the "company" Also, someone has to be paying for these fake websites, so that is another place to start. I am from Jamaica and i can assure these are all SCAMS!!

I received a call from 876-847-8228 and a cell phone number
Of 206-414-9097 I was told I approved already I just
Had to western union a 50.00 installment fee
And to send it to Shazel, Brady in Kingston.
Jamaica wi. then after I send the 50 Dillard's they
Will send 300 with the 50 back included as
A bonus  so if this is scam I please let me.

They are back... not sure if it is the same people but they are claiming to be Falcon Legal Funding... The rep named Cathy Banks will scam you out of your money and tell you that there is an issue sending your loan and that they need more money to secure it and more money because there is a transfer fee and a border fee. BS!!! all of it... the number they call from is 876.370.0115

Add Prime Time Financial to the list of SCAM names!! We have been taken for $995 and they still are pretending to be "sending" the money to our account. I wish I would have seen these posts before I sent them that money!! I am so ashamed that I fell for this.

Universal Lending is not a Company Jamaica but does buisness in that country. I understand that you feel you have been scam by this company but I was very sceptic when they contacted me in about my loan approval. It took me alomost a month with my contract to even return a call to them an they where still available. My lender was out of Maryland and I secure my loan still having doubts ..... Once i was given my Fed ex tracking # i was relieved i call fed ex an was in receipt of my check within the 24 hrs as promised. I also recommended them to my friend and sshe is in the process of receiving her loan .... sorry about your situation and hope it will soon be resolved

Beware of universal lending out of kingston, jamaica....this is a scam, you will not receive a loan from this company.  They will only try to lure you into sending them more cash.  I lost $781.00, in which I am going to fight all the way to get my funds back.  I believe if enough people who have been scammed get together and make a complaint these type of people wouldn't have the nerve to scam consumers so openly.  Let's do something about these type of losers praying on desperate people.  Please if anyone has any information on Universal Lending Firm out Kingston, Jamaica.  Please contact me immediately at (708) 935-5055. so I can pass it on to my private attorney.  This company will be exposed!!!!!!!

i to have gotten a call and handed over money. I feel that i have been scamed to and have not recived any mory to this date. It is really hard because i am looking at losing my home now because of all this. stay away from any 876 area code. you will alos get charged for the calls on your phone bill.

What has been your results? They got me for $545.00 and actually tried to get me to send more cash. I should have followed my first mind. I said it was a scam but they were so comvincing and the forms they sent me were real (so they looked). Chrissie Norwood was doing all the calling from 876-891-4543. Then the supposedly sent my files to a Mr Robert Scott. I am certain the all the names are fake. The were suppose to be a company named First Community Financial. www.firstcommunityfinancial.net 951-251-9586 and the supposely got my info from Rediff Perspectives www.rediffperspectives.com 323-285-6479 whose voice on the voice mail is the same voice as Mr Robert Scott. The companies are suppose to originate in California. Jassett Williams courier, Lenroy Dennis courier. Other phone numbers 876-558-9717, 876-597-2908, 876-390-0534 these 3 all cell phones. 876-390-0534 is suppose to be Mr Robert Scott direct line.... it's his direct cell phone.

The phone number is the same but the "company" is called Lenders Mortgage Services. I lost $880 to these lost souls Phillip Shaw (customer services) Ms.Theresa Anderson(loan officer) Andrea  Moreland(account manager) David Owens (pres./CEO) Margaret ------ (finance) Jamaine Wilson(courier) 2 names not sure of James Wilker and Don Tapta. Other phone numbers are 876-289-9229 and 876-891-4543 which is supposedly Ms. Andersons "direct" number. I don't know who is at the top of the list, Ms. Anderson for assuring me %100 they were a legitimate company which she has worked with for 3 years or Mr. Shaw for continuing this lie. I fully intend to put their names out there for people to see and make the connection for whatever company(ies) they set up and to report them as people conducting fraudulent activities to the proper authorities beginning with IC3. I believe applying for a bad credit loan via internet is where this started but am not certain, just be aware of who you are talking to and keep your guard up.Looking back, I wish I had researched further but was desperate for a loan so I rushed into this and now will dig myself out somehow.I am grateful that I still have a conscience, soul, and heart unlike these uncaring and selfish liars. I pray their families see them for what they are and choose to do whats right .

This is a fake company called prime loan services llc.  They will try to scam you out of your money. Don't take calls from Phillip Shaw. He misleads you every step of the loan. I was stupid and fell for this scam. I lost $850. There fake website address is: http://www.primeloanservicesllc.com
