Caller ID: 800 Service.  I don't pick up for 800 service.  Caller gave up after six rings.

Not answering doesn't work.  Have several numbers that call constantly.  You would think they'd take the hint when repeated calls get no answer.

Two can play this game.   I will keep calling them from another number that they cannot trace to me alone.  When they answer I will let them know that I do not appreciate being called and will keep annoying them.

Called - I answered, but no one on the other end of the line.  Funny, called right after I got a call from another junk caller -  856-376-5266  Penns Grove NJ

Calls on behalf of at least ten different local charities seeking donations. This is a legitimate call on behalf of a non-profit and exempt from "do not call" registry.

These calls appear to be facilitated by Savers, Inc., a for-profit chain of thrift stores which buys the bulk donations from the charities and then resells them in stores. They would seem to be a platform which charities can utilize to reach out to potential donors, and a vehicle to convert material donations to cash.

Received several calls from this number, answering machine picks up, caller waits, then hangs up without leaving a message.  Clearly a scam of some kind since a legitimate business would leave a message.

Comes up as unavailable and no caller - frequent calls from this number!

the Phone number matches a website claiming to be for Big Brothers/ Big Sisters, with addresses listed in Randolph, NJ. and Mountain Lakes, NJ. We do not know if the site or the call is legitimate but it was unsolicited. no voicemail left. Called ID simply read 800 service. For those who want to, if the phone calls are continual and unwanted, contact your phone provider to find out how to put a block on the number.

Calls from this number started immediately after I read the riot act to another caller, 877-336-1489 who I suspect is the same caller as this number, just changed their outbound station number from 1489 to 8828.

Let me put this one to rest!!!  This IS the number for Big Brothers Big Sisters!

They are a 'charitable, non-profit org; 501 (C)(3) and are exempt from the Do Not Call registry regulations.

For those who wish to donate: Clothing; Media- books, DVD's, CD's, Software; Housewares; Shoes & accessories; Bed & bath items;Toys, games, tools; Draperies & curtains; Small electronisc & appliances (no TV's); PLEASE call them for free pickup.  Of ALL the non-profit community organizations, they are one of the finest!!

They call too many times with no one on other line. Probably a charity that spends too much on Operating Cost relevant to actual work they accomplish.They are on my do not give list now!

I received maybe one call from them, but without a caller ID, I don't pick up these calls. If it had shown it was from Lupus or other charity, I would have picked up call and arranged for a donation pick up. They left no message.

Annoying call - no one on line.  Just hang up when the phone is answered.  Why do we bother putting numbers on the do not call registry?

I told the operator that I place my dog poop, mine and the rest of the family on the bag, She agreed to get my poop donation.

It's a calling service.  The same number calls for Big Brothers, Lupus, Breast Cancer, the Miracle Network, Vets, etc.  When the Lupus people called they said the would send a bag in the mail to place the donations, with a card instructing which day to leave the items.  I received the bag as they said and they came on the day they said the would and took the clothing donations I had.  It's not a scam.

That being said, they were call me 3 times a week and it's annoying.  I made a donation and they keep calling. I set Do Not Disturb on my phone - I have a list of family members and only those calls ring the phone - all others go directly to Voice mail without the phone ringing.  Greatest communication invention since Bell discovered the phone.

And . . . now their number will be blocked, as well.  (With certain telephones, specific numbers can be put on a "blocking list."  When the number calls, after the first ring, when the number is identified by the Caller ID, the caller will get a busy signal and then will be disconnected.)

This is supposedly from a representative for Big Brothers/Big Sisters to ask if you have any items available to donate to them, whch they can come to your house to pick up.  Caller ID shows "Not Available" and they called and left no message on my machine while I was out, but I recognize the number, since they have called before.  They also mail out large postcards with the same solicitation, with the number in large print on the post card.

The last time they called, two months ago, I asked for my phone number to be put on their "Do Not Call" list.  Since they ignored my request, I will file a report of the violation.
