They are still at it. Just got a call... Said his name was John White. How stupid do these people think we are? and how are they getting our phone #?

Big mistake calling them back. It's all fun and games until you see your phone bill....you won't be laughing then..

Whatever you do, DO NOT call the number back!! You will be charged outrageously for international calling! A 5 minute phone call will cost you like 70 bucks!! It's not worth the hassle because you already know it's a scam. No sense in making it worse by having to pay a high phone bill!!

My husband got this call today and is having fun with it he keeps calling him back every 1-3 min and leaving randome messages on his phone asking him all sorts of questions. Defiantly a scam but it's fun to mess with them like they think it's fun to mess with us.

Way to go warn others even report it to your local news soo others can be warned!

Got the same call from, "John White" at this number saying that I have won 2.5 million from Publishers Clearing House and expected me to leave work to get it in 45 minutes from the UPS Driver.  When I told him that I wouldn't be leaving to claim the prize, he kept calling me "babe" and "sweetheart".  Hung up on him and has called me back 5 times.  When you see this number DO NOT ANSWER!

my wife has been getting these calls for several weeks now. we have tried everything we know to stop them, including our knowledge that they are scamming from Jamaica. nothing seems to stop them. what do they have to gain by continuing, and how can we stop the calls (other than not answering)/?
Numbers they reveal include 1-876-277-7670 and 527-2899.

Fellow with a heavy accent called to tell me my number had been chosen out of some big number to win $2.5 million for paying my taxes in full and shopping at Wal-Mart.  I thought I would have some fun and strung the guy along for a bit... I asked him how I could get my prize money and he asked me if I lived nearby a Wal-Mart... I guess I over-sold my 'enthusiasm' because he hung up on me in short order.  Pity.  His inventive deception was entertaining if not very convincing.

My son got several missed calls from 876-864-1699.  He finally woke up and answered.  The guy said he won money from a local supermarket that he shops at.  My son told him he only pays cash so how is this possible.  The guy kept asking him for information.  My son finally handed me the phone.  I asked the caller why he was calling my son's phone and he swore at me and hung up.  I googled the number, definitely a scam...a word to the fellow parents out there, educate your kids so they are protected from jerks like this!  I'm so glad my son paid attention to the things I've told him about scammers!!!!!  I also called our cell carrier Mobi Pcs and asked what could be done.  They have a FREE call block service that is being added to our account...only bummer is it wont be active for 72 hours.  

Just got a call from this number, same MO as all the others... Where do they find these people to call like this? Angry!!!!!! They were very forceful with this, acting like they were doing me a favor by telling me this line of crap, guy even got angry when he was told I needed to verify the number. Grr.. Thank you for adding this here so I would know for sure that this was indeed a scam and that I was not the only one to get this call.

9-28-13 I just got a call from this number on my work Blackberry.  When I answered I identified my workplace name and my name and the caller hung up.  Thanks for sharing this info so that I could avoid the nuisance.

He just called me saying you won 2 million dollars, I said "ok, hold on" and hung up.

Got a missed call from this number today at 5:22pm Hawaii Standard Time. No voice message was left. I got a call today! But little does he know, I'm pulling his leg as hard as he's pulling mine!! lmao #having a little fun with this dumbass!!

Call last week and and tried again today. He hung up when I told him we went over this last week.

Just for a call at 5:30 in the morning! He called 4 times then my husband answered and he said his name was mr walker and was in las Vegas  and we had won 2.6 million. He refused to listen to us saying no and finally we said "give it to someone else" and hung up. No call back....

Got a call from the same Jamaican guy just a few minutes ago.  He said he was from Publishers Clearing House and Mega Million and I had just on 2.6 million dollars.  He told me i needed to go to Walmart to claim my prize and put $500 on three seperate cards to claim my prize.  When I laughed and told him i thought it was a scam. He told me, "F**k you!"  I asked him how he can get away with speaking me in that way after telling me that the phone call was recorded for quality assurance! Ha! As I questioned him further, he got more and more agitated, especially when i asked to speak to his supervisor.  He told me to hang up and all him back to verify who he was. What a joke! I did, and he seemed to think he proved his authenticity as a Publishers Clearing house representative. As I questioned him further, he hung up again. I called him back a third time just to tell him he should be ashamed of himself and he defended himself for a few seconds before hanging up on me again.  Good riddence Jamaica Man!

received a call at 8:33am this morning from a man name John King from Bank me America. He told me that i won $2.5 million and a new 2012 pearl white Mercedes Benz that will be insured by Geico Ins. for 4 yrs. He told me that i needed to get a green dot money pack card from WAL-MART and call him back. I when i got it. I told him i didnt have $285. He said ok well what do you have? I said why do i need to hat money if i won something? He said it's for the delivery of your car. I said if i won it why should i pay for delivery. He got upset when i asked to speak with his supervisor. He started yelling at me and asking me why am i asking questions and why am i not doin what i am being told. I said sir can i please speak with your supervisor. He said call me back when you get the money and you can talk to my supervisor then and he hung up in my face.

under "Jamaican Scam" and you will see recent reports of arrests going on down there in that ghetto....

Jamaica 8768641699 is still calling numbers.  I didn't pick up, but got 3 missed calls in a row.

First call - guy sounded either drunk or like he had cerebral palsy.  Said something about winning X million.  Couldn't understand half of what he said.  Told him I had cell phone problems and hung up. He called back immediately and I just ignored it, came here and plugged in the #.  I've gotten to the point I won't even answer my home phone if it's not a number I recognize.  If somehow they have my cell # I give them one chance in case it's work-related.

This jerk called my number with the same promise.....$2.6million and Mercedes Benz.  I didn't give him the time of day...hung up.  He called me back thinking we got disconnected.  I told him "no thank you" and hung up again.  He then called my wife's number with the same information.

hey, he called me today four times. i told him no you he cussed me out, after i hung up i called him back and cussed him out and laugh at him. oh yeah he told me the same exact price and car

I got a call from this # but don't remember taking the call and my cell caller ID didn't tell me call was from Jamaica. I ended up paying a $12.00 fee for this call. I had my cell carrier to block all international calls to my phone.
