Caller name was "Caywobb", calling to inform me that I had won 2.5 million dollars from Reader's Digest, and that they would come to my house to deliver the winnings the next day, and that i only needed a moneypak card purchased at $2.99, and my ID as proof of who I am. He asked if, when I'm notified in the morning, I'd like it to be kept private or public (I opted for public). I then asked how they obtained my number, and he gave me some bogus story on how Mr. Donald Trump raffled all the phone number area codes in my city area, and that I am just a lucky person. Afterwards, he then told me to keep the information contained in the call private, so that no robbers steal from me. He also said that other people may call pretending to be them, so that all I'd need to ask them is what my code is, and they'd need to reply 2580. What a joke!

I just received a call from 704-765-8802 telling me I was the first prize winner of 3.5M dollars, a Mercedes Benz and 50K a week for three months from the Readers Digest.  I was told 99% of the taxes against the winnings have already been paid to the IRS, but I have to purchase a green dot moneypack scratch card, put $399.00 on it to show the IRS I have paid the remaining 1% tax.  Then when they come to deliver my winnings, I must have the confirmation number on the back of the scratch card.  I told them is was a scam and hung up on them but they called me back asking why I hung up.  I told them I did not believe them and they put me on hold to speak to their supervisor Milton Johnson who repeated the same story.  I asked him not to call me again and hung up.  So far, the phone hasn't rung since.

Please do not be intimidated by these filthy, little animals. Except in a couple of cases, these rodents have ONLY your phone number and are trying to get you to provide to them with your address. If you are contacted by them again, please try to record the call as this particular scam is now the subject of a Federal investigation, using the code name , JOLT.

Received a call from the number asking if I would be home for a UPS delivery. I responded with,"No, we're currently busy." They respond with, "Well f**k you! I'm going to head over there, and stick my d**k in your mouth, alright?" Caller ID said the call was from Kingston, JM.

Calling saying they are David Brook from the Better Business Bureau and have a certified check to deliver and present to me at my home worth $550,000. What a JOKE/SCAM!

A man by the name of David Burke called regarding the Readers Digest Sweepstake prize I won. He asked me to purchase a Green Dot Money Pak in the amount of $400.00
When I told him this was a scam he assured me it was not and continued to call me wanting the number from the Green Dot Money Pak.  Caller Id listed his number as unknown.  I asked for Readers Digest to contact me by phone and I wanted to see the company name Readers Digest on the phone#. He became very angry when I would not continue or get the Green Dot Money Pak.  I called Readers Digest and they informed me they do not notify people by telephone nor do they ask for money up front to pay taxes.

THIS IS A SCAM BIG TIME!
