just rec 'd call from jack williams saying I had won 3.5 million from the publishers clearing house sweepsteeks!  they would cover 90% of the taxes but I had to cover the balance...so I asked if my son the policeman could give him a call later to go over all the information...HE HUNG UP! oh my how will I get my winings?SCAM

I just got a call from 876-870-0375.  The caller had such a thick accent, it was hard to understand him.  He told me was calling from UPS and they have a certified package from a sweepstakes company they need to deliver.  He asked if I had been contacted by the sweepstakes company and I said NO.  He asked again and I said NO.  Then he hung up.  I"m sure this is a scam of some sort.

They called my 88 yo mother and said they would be at her door with her winnings ($500,000) in a short period of time.  Asked her if she was alone or if her children would be present. She was told to call and verify at 8768482743.  She did not return call and hopefully she will not have any visitors.

I did not speak with anyone... however, I was talking with a friend telling her about a call I had received from 876 489 6155 (see file) and whilst talking with my friend... I had a beep.... I chose not to answer the call but checked the number and lo and behold it was yet another 876 number ... 876 870 0375.  No message was received.... but check out the report below this one....  same MO ...  different name, and $$$ is more since my last call...  just a "Beware" FYI whatever.... always check the area code...  876 is definitely as from Jamaica and up to no good...

1-876-870-0375, caller identified himself as Chester Rider from UPS in Las Vegas. Said he has a certified cashiers check for me in the amount of 2.5 million from Ceasars Palace awaiting delivery here in Hawaii. I supposedly won a sweepstakes I never entered. He wanted to know what I did for a living too. I did not give him any personally identifiable information.
The kicker was when I called him back and he answered the phone with "hello" instead of "UPS".
