Received a phone call from 876-448-7136 that is identical to all of the above.  He said his name was Mark Anderson and that I had won 2.5 million dollars from the lottery commission.  When I asked again exactly who he was with, he said he was calling on behalf of his company named Megamillions and that my US Cellular phone number had been entered into a raffle and that I had won.  He had kind of a german or Bulgarian accent and continued to say "SIR" when I delayed on any answers.  When I asked him what my name was and if he was affiliated with a particular state, he said it was by phone number only and was going to proceed to explain how I could claim the winnings.  We got disconnected and I called the number back and he did not recognize the number that he had just called and when I asked him what his name was he kept stating that I have called a private number and should explain why I called.  BS, it is a scam.  Someone should take these people out of commission before someone falls into their trap!!!!!!!

When asked to pay a fee this means fraud because I received a called and been going back and forth and there has been a hold up plus why would the IRS hold up a delivery of a prize. I live in Mississippi is there a chance I will have money delivered today and it be real.

I received a similar call, saying I won 1.2 M and wanting to deliver it this Monday @ 12.00. When I asked if this was a "no strings attached-I don't have to give you anything winnings", the guy mentioned that there might be a customs fee for my state winnings. Wasn't given any tracking #'s and didn't ask for bank info. He said all taxes were taken out of the winnings, but possible state custom fees of about $525.00 might be assessed, depending on WI state regulations.
"The first call I received, they left message. When I thought it was "after hrs", I called the # back. The message did say "Mega Bucks", I did not leave name and phone info, but minutes later, he called back.
I mentioned that I was skeptical, but this didn't hinder him from reassuring me I had really won. Ms Lacey Steven would deliver check and the man that called me was Dave Clark from 202-241-3791.
Tomorrow is supposed to be delivery date, we'll see what happens. Very sad that people to do this to honest hard-working people. I was certain and still am certain, this is a scam, so chances are I won't be a millionaire tomorrow. But it was cool thinking about it! Just caller be ware out there!

recieved call from a person identified as Edward Holiday of Megabucks Megamillions claiming I have won $1.5 million and then wanted to ask questions to fill out the claim form.  Claimed that a check was coming in UPS and to verify the winnings I would have to supply information - some of which was personal.  We refused and asked for a number to contact the company.  The 876 890 4868 number was provided.

No legit winning of any prize EVER requires a fee of any kind - once they ask for money, you know it is fake. Try looking it up on www.snopes.com - great website with TONS & TONS of scams, fake emails & stuff like that - good luck!!!
PS: I won some money once (yeah, once lol) and they just sent a check - I would NEVER give my bank account info to anyone. Ever.

We received a call from an Anthony Carson, claiming to be from Megabucks Mega Millions Jackpot promotion saying we had wone 1.8 million. He asked if we had received any notification via mail, and we had not. They sent me an email for the verification process, and are supposed to call me back today for the winning file number and verification of my prize. They offered either a delivery by check or electronic transfer. we gave no personal information other than my email address. They also said there is a retainer fee of $550 for FTC Stamp of approval to be paid to the registered broker, gifing a name and street address in NYC. This is for 'processing of legal documents for the cash prize.' It doesn't say this ust be done before receiving the prize. We are pretty skeptical at this point. Does this sound anything like your call?
Thanks

Received a call 7 April 2011 at 10:00 AM EDT from a Mr. Eduard Holiday claiming to be from MegaBucks MegaMillions congratulating me on winning $1.5 million.  They were also entering me into a "Raffle".  Long story short wanted to ask several questions to provide "verification of winnings" when UPS delivered the certified check made out to me at my correct street address.  He could not expalin the "raffle", the reason for it, or how it was connected to the lottery. As the questions he began to ask were quite personal, we refused to answer the questions and asked for a contact number, the company name and address - he gave the number above, the company as MegaBucks MegaMillions, and the location as Las Vegas, Nevada.  We thanked him and hung up.
